i found the music fitting to the genre, but the melody is to monotonous, however for a soundtrack not bad

This one feels wistful and contemplative and always with your signature sense of hope.

Those growling strings give such a great sense of tension. Great work

Laxá's most ambitious track do date, "I Never Knew You" sees the band expand their sound into more ambient soundscapes with Cello player Lisbeth Heima driving the early part of the piece along with Mike's keyboard and piano. Sure there's the trademark guitars from Jussi and Bjarne's driving bass, but Matthias' drums are notably cleaner as the new sound starts to emerge.

Yes, again a new song. We truly think this is a masterpiece, hope you like it too! It is an acoustic one .. and it sounds like this song is about someone that committed suicide because life is too hard. Which is possible and I saw some souls in my mind while writing the lyrics indeed... We all know of friends or family members that tragically have chosen the fast way out! But at the same time .. it actually refers to the ego, your old self dying and becoming the version you dream of. This song could inspire you to become your better self, your higher self. Every day you get a new chance to work on it, change and grow into that image! Sending much healing energy and love to all of you! Never give up! Haleen

Raising The Bridges by Jeremias Langsämmer

This fascinating artefact from Laxá's early catalog captures them as a 3 piece with Lisbeth Heima guesting on strings, recorded in Jussi's basement on a borrowed tape recorder. 

The song was pretty much a live take and if you listen carefully you can hear creaking floorboards and a distant siren unwittingly captured, but immortalized, in the final mix.
