Starting as a label that served basically as a platform for their friends’ music in 2010, Uncanny Valley evolved into a record label that assembles acclaimed artists from the electronic music scene not only from the label’s base in Dresden but also from Germany and beyond. With a strong emphasis on the records’ artwork the label heads Philipp Demankowski, Conrad Kaden, Carl-Johannes Schulze and Albrecht Wassersleben are constantly on a mission to establish and refine the artists from the roster as well as to search for new talents. Artists as Jacob Korn, Cuthead, Credit 00, Massimiliano Pagliara, CVBox or Panthera Krause all feel at home on the label, giving them the chance to develop projects that are not only music related but can also integrate different art forms. With the two offshoots Rat Life and shtum under its belt, Uncanny Valley does not stand still to explore the full spectrum of electronic and not so electronic music from House via Disco, Hip-Hop or Ambient through to Techno. A range that can also be depicted when the four label heads come together for a DJ set as Uncanny Valley Soundsystem.

Label and Podcast run by DJ, selector and vinyl digger Johnny Yenseits who started his career with organizing and playing at raves at a Viennese nightclub located in a former pedestrian underpass in mid 2000s. As a subversive supporter of the underground scene he’s curated and played at hundreds of club events. In his vinyl-only sets he loves to mix various styles like Leftfield-, Balearic-, Afro Cosmic- and Italo-Disco with New Beat, EBM, Electro, House, Techno and Trance, not only vintage but also contemporary productions from his collection of 12,000 records. Since 2009 Johnny’s hosted the Disco Frisco DJ mix podcast as well as the eponymous event series with greatest passion. In 2021 he started his label for contemporary electronic music ARCHAIC FUTURE SOUNDS.

sonorous journey through the darker side of the electro, taking the commands of the Elka 
Synthex, one of the most impressive polysynths in the history of music, planned and 
manifactured by Mario Maggi in the early 80s, as the commercial brother of the MCS70, 
synth that gave birth to a masterpice album like "Automat". 
Captivating hybrid of styles, mixing the chilling-menacing mood of the 70s / 80s lo-fi funkadelic horror 
soundtracks to outerspace synthesised soundscapes in a pure classy vein. 
This is cryptical-kosmische psychedelica with a nice electro retro touch and avant-minimalist vibes."

ITALO MODERNI label was born out of the passion and obsession for 80's Electro/Italo/New beat and new vanguard electronica. It is also a platform that encourages creativity and aims to uplift and inspire djs and diggers to produce eclectic and innovative sets.
The world of music is limitless and we are continually learning from each other by sharing and broadening our horizons.  Through the club scene, we seek to convey that underground and unique sound that electronica has at its best.  Our goal is to awaken the inner soul of that person who is looking for something different, in every sound he hears and makes him believe that there is something beyond the conventional.
