Someone tell me why
I'm staring at the sky

Head full of stars
Distant avatars
How do they weave their spells?
Ride their swirling carousels?

Count all the things you lose

Sometimes it's hard to tell

Nocturn

This was unavoidable for me.  Politics aside, I think we can all agree that the mounting innocent victims of global conflict are a tragedy beyond measure.  These casualties should not be ignored as we sit in the comforts of our cushy little lives.

Saint Louis' spires begin to glow
