My latest track. A dark number keeping to the brief of the compilation of "dark energy". I structured the track around the moody chord progression of the bass line. I wanted to keep the other layers discreet and subtle. There are 3 sections to the track, building to the intense drone like ending which uses an insidiously increasing delay to create a large Soundstage. Ocd Remix

This compilation documents the initial experimental ambient phase of my creative journey as Auldwav.

Included here are four previously released songs, plus one new song, "Remembrance."

All songs were composed and recorded using a minimal, hardware-only set-up, which included a Make Noise 0-Coast semi-modular synthesizer, a small Eurorack modular system, an Electro-Harmonix 22500 looper pedal, some effects pedals for reverb and delay, and a Tascam DP-006 digital recorder.

Tracks 1, 3, and 5 incorporate sounds from the excellent Sonic Beds Vol. 1 sound pack by Jogging House (jogginghouse.gumroad.com).

PLEASE NOTE: Out of consideration for listeners with unilateral hearing differences and/or people with other monaural listening needs, no stereo effects were used during the recording or mixing of these tracks.
