9 Dark Stars In Daylight

This is it! My debut, The Lifelong Friends EP!! Self produced in Garageband for iPad, with three months of writing, recording, and editing. Created during seemingly the weirdest time in my life, I hope you are able to take something from this, as I have, learning endlessly about not only the music I create, but myself as well. Thank you all so very much for listening and supporting me through thick and thin, and I sincerely hope you enjoy my creations. 

Lifelong Friends

This is the closing track off the 2014 Morphine EP. It is a short track, but it resonates with me years later. The whole record is indirectly about the passing of a family member and the subsequent grief and reflections on mortality. This song is the capstone on that thought process, and also touches on watching the living waste away - stuck on chemicals they can't shake.

Decades

Rolo Tomassi, the female-fronted British band NME dubbed “mathcore noise bastards (and bastress),” release their North American debut album, Grievances, on July 7 via Ipecac Recordings. The band will be releasing the record in the UK, Australia and Europe through Holy Roar on June 1st and Austrlia/NZ through Shock on June 5th. 

The band, which hails from Sheffield, formed in 2005, taking their name from the film L.A. Confidential.  While Rolo Tomassi have yet to release an album Stateside, the band has toured the U.S. with Jane’s Addiction and saw their 2010 album, Cosmology, produced by Diplo. Pitchfork said singer Eva Spence is, “equally comfortable singing in a glassy, ethereal coo and a glasses-shattering screech.”

The band will also be main support on all Fall Of Troy UK and European dates this coming August. They will also be playing at Arctangent Festival (along with Fall Of Troy, Deafheaven, 65Daysofstatic, Dillinger Escape Plan), and of course, have their own set of release week shows in London from June 1st - June 4th
