Cool track with a lot of disparate sounds that that together coalesce into a very engaging track.

Brilliant and 100% correct. This is what jazz sounded like when I wasn't jazz-savvy, and at the same time I find this avant-garde experimentalist track very enjoyable and inspiring. Possibly a result of ..  some encounters with marijuana and psychedelics from my part too.

I wanted to dance, so i made some music that´s danceable.

I haven't uploaded in a while, so I figured I'd post some random shit.  I can attest this is what Jazz would sound like to a Pop-punk fan, as I used to be a Pop-punk fan who didn't understand jazz.  Now that I've ruined my brain with over use of marijuana and psychedelics, jazz makes perfect sense to me, but at one point, it sounded just like this.  This track was recorded and mixed on analogue equipment, which automatically makes it superior to digital peasant music.

narration: I imagine some human ancestor sitting in the mouth of the cave, still awed by printing his ochre hand on the cave wall - she or he or they .....such a puzzeling, bewildering act:  the creation of identity and the affirmation of connection simultaneously .... Identification, after all, is a younger sibling to alienation ;-)

This song is a personal one about the companionship I feel with my friends when I play music with them. Using the phoenix theme of death and rebirth in the fire. The inspirations for this song include the progressive songwriting of Yes, and the lyrical playing of Mei Semones. I guess you could say I'm blending an old style with a new one. I have been enjoying writing shorter songs recently. Something about the attention span of everyone these days demands quick playback. Hope you enjoy!

I've been on this kick lately posting short isolated tracks of previously uploaded full songs, just to highlight certain parts. In this one, it's an isolated section of the vocal track & harmonies, with a bit of percussion. I don't spend time thinking about what I create, no formulas, no recipes, no planning, no genre in mind, I just go wherever the first few notes take me, pretty much improvised; I tend to go with the first idea that pops into my head; judge for yourself how that pans out!
