My Friend

Is the first single from Newcastle based indie singer-songwriter Annie Higgins’. 
Lifted from her lovingly crafted  album 'Pot of Gold’, the single grooves with holiday vibes, the grateful sigh when your toes finally sink into sand and your eyes find the sunset on the long horizon. With Luke Gerber (from Mel Blue) as her Musical director for the project there is a beach vibed freshness to this reggae-inspired track. The song calls you to be present to the moments in the life you have, remembering to breathe and let it be. Sweet melodies and playful rhythms dance around each other with enough space to leave room for you.

Seeder is Sydney producer Mic.Hardwick (vocals/guitar), Dave Blennerhassett (bass/vocals), and Gene Maynard (drums/vocals), Their distinctive sound combines the raw energy of blues rock with layers of infectious groove. With influences ranging from Cream, David Bowie, Pink Floyd and Cake, Seeder draws from a rich tapestry of musical roots. Fans have likened their indie rock sound to Franz Ferdinand and Talking Heads, The The and The Stooges. Crafted around the unique songwriting of Mic. Hardwick, this release moves to the side of love, after the madness and dark grooves of the previous 2 EP’s. These are songs that talk to the yearning, longing, aching nature of love. Punctuated with bass grooves and the smooth undertones of a classic Hammond Organ. Get your grind on and then sit back and reflect on old love with ‘The Breaking Heart Echoes’. The focus track ‘Queen of my dreams’ is a love groove . Bouncy upbeat and chilled. Steel guitar and with Hammond Organ swells provide the bed for the feel good chugging country rock rhythm.
