As the approaching cold forces us to warm ourselves from the inside, we turn inward to music for help embracing this polar sensation. Josef Gaard has been a part of the Unrush team since the beginning. His penchant for both ambient music as well as dance-floor oriented styles has landed him at some of the best venues across Berlin and Europe. His recent record, "2929", saw him working with artists such as Kalawila and Dorisburg and was released to international acclaim. Here he has used a collection of tracks that have had profound personal meaning to him since Unrush started, and have carried him through numerous blistering winters. U N R U S H is an experiment in sound, a crystalline vision of eternal pause. Through our record label, podcasts, interviews, and event series we focus on presenting a diverse array of alluring ambient music. With each guest contribution we search for a serene space within the mind that is free from the encumbering stresses of daily life. Our events will act as a platform for distinguished artists and take place in stunning cultural surroundings both in the city and in nature, taking a step away from the pounding hedonism of the club to showcase the other side of electronic music.
