Originally released on CD in 1999, Astral Industries present a first vinyl issue of Monolake’s much-loved ‘Gobi’, licensed from Imbalance Computer Music. Set to the backdrop of the Gobi desert in eastern Asia, two shimmering vistas plunge the listener into a vast and deeply hypnotic nocturnal soundscape. The perennial hiss and rattle of insects float along the fresh night air in soft waves. The desert thrives with quiet activity as a westerly wind skitters across moonlit dunes, granulated folds dancing like sheets of thin silk. Tectonic plates murmur beneath the shower of stars overhead, their millennial cycles whispering of aeons past. Vividly textured and enticingly synthetic in its sound design, Gobi succeeds as a stunning piece of minimalism.

Bio: 

A Dj/producer from Okinawa, Japan. Now based Berlin. Iori’s musical career started up in Naha, Okinawa in the late 90′s. He went to New York in 2003, and later on headed back to Japan. Taking Okinawa as center, Iori is famed in both Japan and stages around the world at the present. As deeply influenced by True Deep house, Manuel Gottsching, Moritz Von Oswald, and Basic Channel, Iori does not only present sets ranging from House to Techno but is also proficient in alternative deep sets. 
Characterised by the heavy and bouncy rhythms , grand atmospheric synth layers, He has already established his unique sound in the European techno / house circuit.

Josef Gaard has been a part of the Unrush team since the beginning. His penchant for both ambient music as well as dance-floor oriented styles has landed him at some of the best venues across Berlin and Europe. His recent record, "2929", saw him working with artists such as Kalawila and Dorisburg and was released to international acclaim. Here he has used a collection of tracks that have had profound personal meaning to him since Unrush started, and have carried him through numerous blistering winters. Hey fellow, today here's a new trip from Brussels's talent Salah.

Salah is an artist, producer and live performer based in Brussels. His first release was published by @aardenrecords, from Ghent, in 2019. This four-track EP is about exploring the hypnotic side of techno with a groovy sound and cultural influences, originating from his middle eastern roots.

"This is the way for me, on this podcast, to show what my vision of
ambient music is. With the desire to mix with various contents, to give
good energy for a relaxing and a meditative feeling."

The picture was taken by himself at Ischia, an island in the napolitan Bay, with a special analog film that give that beautiful and different nuances of blue.
