I really like your singing, a little out of tune. Fits perfectly the song. The original poem is La Cancion Desesperada from Pablo Neruda. A Nobel prize of litterature. To your credit, you recognized the quality.

My sister and I cared for mum in her own home for the last ten years, going every day. Mum had been diagnosed with vascular dementia. This song is more about what I could see coming, the bad days, as at this time mum was still more lucid than not. Daphne Gennery passed away peacefully on the 30th of August 2025 at the age of 95, in her own home, in her own bed.....something that she always wanted....no hospital or care home.

After completing the song, I found a noticeable spread between the highest & lowest notes.  So I had a hard time with the vocals.  I could have altered the notes to fit the voice but in the end I decided to go with the original.  Please bear with my singing.

The lyrics is extracted from a lengthy poem I came across on the web.
In the end, perhaps the plot doesn't make much sense anyway.  So let's assume it's just for the sake of making a song.   See what you think.

A song about not wanting to let go of the sun in a relationship that made it so hot and fire.
