Introduction in English

Many of them were persecuted, oppressed, tortured or even murdered. 
But many of them escaped their perpetrators and potential butchers and emerged even stronger from these struggles for survival. 
And especially at a time when the tyrannical powers are raising their heads again, when a repressive right-wing shift is taking place all over the world, they are more important than ever;
In their unmistakable clarity, their healthy stubbornness, their intuitive knowledge to protect the all-encompassing love and vitality in the world from the destructive forces of fascist systems.
With my song I want to encourage all free spirits to show themselves even more and to go forward. And I want to encourage all listeners of this song to open up more to their own free-spirited side.

Here’s a side project that our friend Brian Young (Wull) composed, performed the music and produced. A few years back Brian asked us if we would add vocals and Nat and I came up with this recording. Brian later released a modified version. We wanted to keep this version as well and hope you’ll enjoy it. Our thanks to Brian for inviting us into this beautiful composition that features his terrific guitar work to which we greatly enjoyed singing along. The words were authored by “NewBeginnings” (Jimmy Osborne) DUPoetry.com, but you’ll hear some minor changes made to best fit with Brian’s music.

Standing in the pouring rain
Soaked to the bone in sorrow,
I met a fellow mourner’s pain,
Along this road to no tomorrow.

She was drowning in defeat,
She braced this raging storm alone,
But she had the cutest little tweet,
I knew I had to take her home.

So, I took that bird beneath my wing,
And nursed her back to perfect health,
Then, one day I heard that angel sing
Perched so bravely upon her shelf.

The moon for March is known today as the Worm Moon. However, the roots of the moon names are lost “in the mists of time” as they say. So after some discussion, Andreas and I came to the view that this March moon was most probably named after the Old English/Saxon for ‘dragon’ which is ‘wyrm’, as it is known in the 10th century epic Beowulf, and that the common-or-garden worm was named after its mightier mythical ancestor. So here it is, and we hope you like it!

Here we are again with a track we started recording months ago but never finished!
Finally, we’ve completed it and, wouldn’t you know it, while we were finishing the production, it rained nonstop here, with hail and everything!
It's a journey through rain and melancholy, where wet streets reflect memories and unfulfilled desires. The city's heartbeat blends with the sound of the rain, as unanswered questions fade into the storm. A track wrapped in dark atmospheres and intense melodies, for those who can hear the sound of solitude.

I would like to begin with “once upon a time” 
Except ... we begin where there is no beginning,
Way far back .... where there is no Time,
Only glittering black as far as the eye can see,
The cosmic or firmamental seas, as they’re known
So vast and unending they even dwarf infinity.
On the coils of a serpent, in the middle of this ocean
Sleeps naked, the beautiful Eurynome
With a heart as full as the day is long,
And with a love so deep it could drown a leviathan. 

She dreams of her lover upon whom she sleeps,
Ophion, who lives only to serve her every need,
To fertilise the seeds from these primordial deeps
To birth, into form, her every love-soaked fantasy.
And so it came about that she had a desire
To express the feelings of her heart in hymns,
For planets and stars to form and sing as choirs
Under the vaulted arches of a great empyrean
Lit only by the sun through the stained-glass windows
Of the crystals of her heavenly auditorium. 

So Ophion came in her dream, with her to lay
And plant his seed; then she turned into a dove
And took flight to hatch her egg upon the waves.
Ophion wound himself round it, in seven tiers,
To warm the germs within the crystalline shell,
Until the egg split and from it, all life streamed,
All that exists: suns, moons, planets...stars as well, 
Even Earth with its mountains, rivers and trees,
And all creatures and folk, both good and bad,
Every one had their place in her planetarium. 

As she stood enthralled by the harmony of the spheres,
Ophion placed an egg-shaped moon near our world,
So that we would recognise the story, told in the stars,
That, one day, the beautiful Dreamer would awake
And all this life would seem as if it had never been.
That’s why, at Easter, we share eggs as keepsakes
To honour the memory of the creatrix Eurynome
And her lover, Ophion, that wisest of sea snakes,
Who birthed the stories of all our lives in song,
And of those who came before us, and those still to come.

Egg Moon

Lyrics: Deep-rooted suffering, our relationship is going down the drain. A shattered love and the paths only take me away from you, it's each man for himself, each one goes his own way, and we reach a deeper well and what could have happened to us? The worst is to see that we weakened, I'm aware, that I carry half of this guilt with me, it's better to move on, we need to resolve it, it's a full stop that marked us both, insisting doesn't make sense and after the suffering comes relief, we need to resolve this torment Face to face. Every story has a beginning, a middle and for both of us it's the end, a relationship like this is bad and it's not normal, I'm going to tell you now my decision, it's to end it!
