Born in Virginia, raised in Maryland; survivor of an alcoholic  family; graduated High School and Union Carpenters Apprenticeship; a student of Algebra, a student of Life, a  brown belt Samurai Chess Player; gave up clarinet in 2nd grade because he was too young to understand;  gave up French class 5 years later because he could not speak the language; turned down Ms. Maria Blautzig for the Sadie Hawkins Dance because she had turned  down his request earlier in the school year; walked out of typing class on day one, hell HOUR one, because he could not handle the stress of it;  walked out of Oklahoma State University because he really needed help at that point and did not know how to ask for it, so ‘tear it all down and blow it up’ seemed to be the only way to find any; experienced the deepest loneliness of his entire life to date out on that highway, with no direction anywhere.  He has worked as a ditch digger, a grass cutter, a TV Guide door to door salesman; he has been a farm worker, carpenters’ helper, apprentice, a Journeyman carpenter in Local 132, a Home Improvement contractor and a Facilities Maintenance Engineer.  He has passed up more opportunities than cars on a freight train; he has hitchhiked, hobo’ed and walked across tens of thousands of miles of America's roadways, and a few in Canada, for good measure.

By virtue of  a chance encounter one snowy January night in 1993, when he met and eventually married the revolutionary communist, aspiring novelist, multi instrumentalist soprano and as yet unheralded expert at fitting leftovers into the refrigerator, the  beguiling, and sumptuous Ms. Juliana; this union subsequently created the talented, smart, bubbly, and eye-catching Ms. Sophia, she of the musical pipes.
Mr Higgins first picked up the guitar at age 23, the harmonica at 57, and wrote his first book at age 5, or 6. It shall remain forever unpublished, as the only handwritten master of it is lost to the dustbin of history.

I'm Antonio Porrino (Tonino).
Graduated in Physics in March 1979, I was Researcher in Theoretical Nuclear Physics at the "Federico II" University of Naples until November 2019.
I studied music, initially at the Conservatory of San Pietro a Maiella in Naples and then self-taught piano, organ and composition.
I have been married to Anna since July 1982 and we have 5 children, Fabio, Luca, Francesca, Cecilia, Vincenzo and 3 grandchildren, Antonio, Sofia and Vincenzo, Fabio's children, married to Sara.
I founded the polyphonic choir "Vicus Novanensis" in 1992 and in 2019 "I Cantori di Maria", which have collected the legacy of the numerous "long distance adoptions" of the previous choir.
The musical activity takes place mainly at the "Pontifical Minor Basilica of Maria Santissima Assunta" in Santa Maria a Vico (Italy).
I have composed music of various genres.
My music would like to express and transmit feelings of peace, serenity and joy, contrasting those of war, hatred and oppression that seem to prevail on planet Earth, causing the degradation of the natural environment that guards us.

Laureato in Fisica nel marzo 1979, sono stato Ricercatore di Fisica Nucleare Teorica presso l'Università "Federico II" di Napoli fino a novembre 2019. 
Ho studiato Musica, inizialmente presso il Conservatorio di San Pietro a Maiella di Napoli e poi pianoforte, organo e composizione da autodidatta.
Sono sposato con Anna dal luglio 1982 e abbiamo 5 figli, Fabio, Luca, Francesca, Cecilia, Vincenzo e 3 nipoti, Antonio, Sofia e Vincenzo, figli di Fabio, sposato con Sara. 
Ho fondato nel 1992 il Coro polifonico "Vicus Novanensis" e nell'anno 2019 "I Cantori di Maria", che hanno raccolto l'eredità delle numerose "adozioni a distanza" del precedente coro. 
L'attività musicale si svolge prevalentemente presso la "Basilica Pontificia Minore di Maria Santissima Assunta" di Santa Maria a Vico (Italy). 
Ho composto brani musicali di vario genere. 
La mia musica vorrebbe esprimere e trasmettere sentimenti di pace, di serenità e di gioia, contrastando quelli di guerra, odio e sopraffazione che sembrano prevalere sul pianeta Terra, provocando la degradazione dell'ambiente naturale che ci custodisce.

I do all this for fun, as hobby. My day work is elsewhere.
All this material is made by me, only me.

Mostly used single instrument is Roland FA08, which I use to make a base to play other instruments.

Kaunas College lecturer Danielius Adomaitis is a long-time leader of students' extracurricular activities, and in 2016 he was published in the “Reitingai” magazine as one of the most distinguished lecturers who have made Kaunas College famous with his activities. Between academic activities, Danielius plays the piano and writes poems in his free time. The author has published poetry collections: “My Diary” (2012), “Words for You” (2014), “A Touch of Moment” (2014), “Under the Wings of Angel” (2018), as well as verse books for children “Clown Tukas”, “Mama Bear’s Cakes” and “Train Elgiukas”. The music he has created and performed can be heard on platforms such as Youtube, Soundcloud, Spotify, etc. In his free time, he periodically organizes authorial and co-authorial evenings of poetry and live music, and also conducts cognitive creative education for kindergartens and primary schools students.
