I made"Doin' Fine" a time ago and it was one of my first attemps to use effects and sounds like risers etc... 
Now recently I listened again and thought, with some remastering it is a humble attempt, to bring the feeling you have when you're young.

This song was written by J.R. Halas in 2005, he sings and plays the lead guitar on it, I play the Bass, Piano, Acoustic Guitar, and Drums. J.R. and I recorded 5 or 6 songs in my studio, this being the last. This is a very swampy Blues number and he did a great job on it. I produced a video to go along with this song, shedding light on the cruelty and madness of Domestic Violence and how it must be stopped immediately! I deal with many uncomfortable topics in my music and videos, I just don't write lovey dovey pop songs all the time but I prefer to write those! I am a healthcare executive completing a dual degree, Master of Public Health / Doctor of Health Sciences, focused on raising awareness about behavioral health, specifically among teens and college students. My dissertation research is focused on raising up the voice of college students beginning with communities of color.
