'Leitstrahl were raised on a strict diet of electronic music. Electro pop. Italo Disco. Synth movie scores. This was the bread and butter of this three man Austrian outfit. With more than fifteen years of band history, the trio of Stoff, Paul Raal and Boogaloo Steve are as proud as punch to announce their debut album: Chromium Dioxide. For their twelve tracks the triumvirate have pooled their enthusiasm and experience, calling on a string of friends to give their selection a unique energy and emotion. Jon Jon, aka John Foster, of Bronski Beat fame, offers his vocals for the rollercoaster ride of “Europa Supersaw.” Nicole Jaey’s mellifluous voice soars in the blazing “Chevrolée,” Christina Mirabilis lends her sweet lyrics for the fiery “Girotti” with Jimmy Baker voicing the pop heartbreak of “White Tail.” Synthlines sparkle across the collection, magical melodies pirouetting in a haze of deep Summer sun. Coursing through the entire album is passion, a passion crystallised in addictive hooks, laserdance rhythms and fledgling romance, a passion that combines Hi-NRG intensity with the reflection of wave and the optimism of italo. Inspired by the 1980s, simply inspirational today.'

We shake horns and cowbells like there's no tomorrow on the alluring beat of Sea Urchin before the final epic ride of Ferramenta nº20, an interstellar tractor that shoots you straight into a disco-infused outer space.

I'm so proud to present the second chapter of my 'Reworks Archive' series turning classic and obscure tunes of different styles and genres into modern electronic weapons for the dance floor.

For Volume Two I have selected twenty of my own Cosmic flavoured versions from the last few years demonstrating the deep love I feel for the underground dance culture of the late 70s and early 80s, from Rock and Sci Fi Electronics to Funk and New Wave, Cosmic Italo and obscure NY Disco…

Sleepless in Neon

Neon Ghosts is our little detour into a completely different world – away from the dark realms, diving into a synthetic ocean of neon lights, retro beats, and cyberpunk melancholy. This synthwave–electro–ambient album is a passion project by Raphaela Hartmann, Sascha Häusler, and Thomas Kaiser – all devoted fans of synthwave and cyberpunk culture.

We simply couldn’t resist exploring this genre ourselves – painting glitch-stars across the digital sky and creating soundscapes that feel like neon rain, chrome dreams, and distant cityscapes.

This is just our first step – an experiment, a side project made with love and pure fun.
