This is a special song that I wrote to celebrate my 50th birthday. Since I'm still quite insignificant figure, rejected, misunderstood and ignored by many, I came up with the title “Not Much To Say...”. The lyrics supposed to capture 50 years of my life in a very general and therefore superficial way that I was reflecting upon. I still haven't achieved the goals I set for myself a long time ago, and therefore presently I have “not much to say...”. Enjoy!

This track was created out of frustration within an hour, when another gothism-oriented project, that I had been working on for months, fell apart. Then I quickly decided to take matters into my own hands and so I wrote this song about Goths, who usually respect (and sometimes even worship) astronomical phenomena, such as “the blood moon”. The blood moon is a total lunar eclipse in which the Earth passes between the Sun and the Moon, casting a shadow on the Moon and causing it to appear reddish (or bloody). I was considering two possible titles for this song: “Bloodmooners” and “Bloodmooning”. In the end, the first option won. Enjoy!

Another take on "Dredd Song" in a more ballad style. Once again, the lyrics and melodies were changed with respect to the original soundtrack recorded by The Cure. This song was recorded in honor of Robert Smith, who is a Goth icon and a mastermind behind the success of The Cure, as well as Sylvester Stallone, who played the main character in the cult futuristic movie of "Judge Dredd" from 1995. The origin of this particular track can be traced back to 2003, when it was first recorded by Wojciech Makowski in his home recording studio. The poem is addressed to the pure feeling of love to which the real human features were assigned by using a stylistic form of personification. In this song, love is a specific lyrical entity which is treated as a real human being. An entirely new version of this song is proposed in 2024 with modified lyrics as well as changed melodies and instrumental arrangements with the gothic touch of Kamil Walczak. Enjoy!

Still Standing in the Light

Kamil Walczak is a solo artist, session musician, songwriter and music producer, who works tirelessly on several projects simultaneously. His musical journey began in the early 1990s when he played drums as a session musician. In 1992-93, he was a bassist of the Polish coldwave band, A Herd Of The Rushing Vises, which broke up after recording a demo tape "The Bad Place” (1993). Since then, he has been writing lyrics, composing and arranging songs. Since 2019, he is associated with the Metronome School of Music and Recording Studio in New York City. Among his releases are: 4 EPs (“Obscured By Gothism”, "Alternative Obscurity", “Overblown By Animosity”, "Alternative Animosity"), 4 singles (“Never Say It's Over”, "Someplace Safe", "Take Me There!", "A Coldwave Summer Breeze"), the singles collection ("By Goth Means Essential..."), and 2 full-length studio albums ("By All Means Necessary...", "By All Means Alternative..."). He is currently working on his next gothic album ("The Torchbearer Of Gothism"), being also involved in other music projects (Em & Double-U, Hanging Graveyard, Bloodmooners, Em & Triple-U).
