Joy is one of the cities longest running club brands..


JOY was born in the illegal world of the club scene and quickly became something special. 

Partys were then had in iconic venues such as the Leeds Corn Exchange... Mint club, Stinkys and later Mission..

The music was originally 90's house, but later changed into a internationally recognised Techno brand.

I have been  lucky enough to DJ along side some of my all time favourite DJs...and meet some great people along the way

The fun does not end here,

Joy still holds a few events per year in venues that are as close as possible to the early days of Joy - the illegal years..   small and all out Atmospheric with very special guest DJs joining the superb residents...

The project Mint Berry was created in 2013.Two talented guy: Vladislav Kuzmenko and Alexander Zadoyany sharing with the world their thoughts, feelings and experiences using music.
Today guys create high-quality, private, positive music. Their songs are characterized by soft electronic sounds. This is full of drive, energy, and also has its special meaning.
For two years the band has a songs «Bit», «Konsensus», «Vera», and cooperative work «Love» with Elvin Kristian (FANES).
In March 2013 Mint Berry present their first music video for the song «Bit».

Electro-Ethnic Live Performance 

Sound of Mint is an electro-ethnic live act created by FADEL LAHLOU.
This original project is a new musical concept fusing electronic music and
atypical acoustic / analogic instruments from all over the world.
Sound of Mint has collaborated with renowned World Music musicians such as Samba Diabaté, Abou Diarra, Mbemba Diabaté, Sami Chaouki and Marta Lunares to name a few releasing numerous major original tracks on
some of the most prestigious international Afro-House & Electro-Ethnic record labels such as Buddha Bar Records (Paris, France), Madorasindahouse (Greece), AltOrient (Canada), Café De Anatolia (Worldwide), Medina Records (Morocco).

His mystical, captivating, traditional, avant-garde original compositions have
received remarkable support from the biggest names in the electronic music scene such as Black Coffee, Adam Port, Blond:ish, Laurent Garnier, Acid Pauli, Nick Warren, Sabo to name a few; allowing him to tour more than 800+ shows across France, Greece, Morocco, Mexico, the USA, Canada and Angola.

This vibrant & energetic musical project can be described as a colorfully
orchestrated electro- ethnic live performance with both surprising and
enchanting improvisations inspired by the cultures of the world.

Born & bred in Leeds, Paul Murray was brought up on a healthy diet of acid house parties, illegal raves and the legendary Hacienda in Manchester.

In 1993 Paul was offered an exclusive Friday night residency at 'UpYerRonson' The Music Factory, Leeds where he gained his stripes as a leading House DJ playing alongside and gaining recognition from the likes of Sasha, Graeme Park, Paul Oakenfold, Frankie Knuckles, Tony Humphries, M-People & Sister Sledge to name just a few. He held the residency for 6 fun filled years of madness & wicked parties. Ask him now what was the highlight of his 6 years at 'UpYerRonson' and he'll tell you that every Friday was different and having clubbers actually coming to check his sets out rather than the so called 'big name' DJs was a compliment and testament to the talent & ability he has to create a vibe only that man Muzzcroft could do.

In 1996, his unique style and amazing talent got him his first summer residency at Amnesia, Ibiza where his sets on the terrace alongside Brandon Block were legendary and rocked the crowds week in week out. From his residency at Amnesia came offers to guest DJ at some of the Islands biggest clubs including Pacha, Es Paradis & Manumission and saw him regularly fly out to Majorca to play for Club Cream at their weekly night at BCM. Paul also hosted the pre-club parties at Cafe Mambo playing with some of the industries biggest DJs including Roger Sanchez, DJ Sneak & Erick Morillo. 

At the end of his first full season in Ibiza in 1996, Javi the owner of Cafe Mambos offered him to return next summer and become the new season resident DJ. Paul reluctantly tuned the offer down due to work commitments back in the UK but has continued to grace the magical white Isle and guested at clubs and bars from 1997-2000 where he played at some amazing one off parties.

Paul recently brought the UpYerRonson parties out of retirement for a series of one off parties. 
In August 2014 he put on a special party at The Faversham, Leeds to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the residency UYR held at The Pleasure Rooms between 1994-1996. 
August 2015 was the 21st Anniversary of UpYerRonson's sold out party they put on at Space, Ibiza in 1995. So to celebrate that amazing day, they put on an all day / all night terrace party and set about recreating the infamous Space Terrace on the outside area of Mint Warehouse, Leeds. The party was such a success that it's been placed up there with one of the best they've ever done. 
UpYerRonson ARE BACK and now throw 2 annual Day & Night Terrace Parties a year (end of May bank holiday Saturday & end of August bank holiday Saturday) from 2pm-2am at Mint Warehouse, Leeds and an annual Christmas Blowout Party on Mad Friday at Mint Club, Leeds.

In December 2016, UpYerronson decided to celebrate the 21st Anniversary of their Pleasure Rooms residency by taking over the original venue (now called Bar Soba)and transformed it back into The Pleasure Rooms for one night only! They even recreated the raised mezzanine floor where the DJs had to climb up a ladder to get to. Paul said "Being up there was quite surreal looking down on the crowd below thinking that we would never of thought that 21 years later, we'd be up here again playing music to the UpYerRonson crowd!"

With a career spanning over 25 years, Leeds based DJ & Love Not Money Records owner Luke Pompey has experienced a lot in that time. He graced the decks at Ibizan super club Cream, Amnesia at 18 years old then 2 years later supported Tiesto when Galaxy FM invited him to play Privilege. He's played to crowds in excess of 10,000+ alongside the biggest names in the industry, had his productions supported by the likes of Carl Cox, Jamie Jones, Solomon, and Pete Tong who featured both his remix of Dennis Ferrer's "Hey Hey" and Real Nice & Cubiq's 'Had Enough' on the Radio 1 essential selection.
Residing in Leeds, home to the UK's most vibrant clubbing scenes, he held a long standing residency at the cities most established club, Mint, which offered amazing opportunities playing back2back with The Martinez Brothers and Hot Since 82 and touring various brands at Festivals such as Glade, Glastonbury, Creamfields & Secret Garden Party.

As owner of 'Love Not Money Records', he turned the label in to one of the House scenes most talked about new music outputs. Launching 2011 the label found its feet among the dance elite. Releasing over 200 tracks from the likes of Hot Since 82, Darius Syrossian, Max Chapman and Robert James while gaining support worldwide on BBC Radio 1, Capital FM and Ibiza Global Radio. Racking up 15 Beatport top 100's along the way.

Something special was developing in London's rave culture during the mid-2000's. A generation of like-minded artists and promoters with similar tastes in house and techno formed a genuine scene with a spirit and alchemy that has propelled its instigators far and wide. Rich NxT was enjoying being part of the movement, frequenting the many seminal East London venues we still talk about now.

Born in 2008, FUSE London carved its own unique position on the scene with its infamous Sunday free parties at 93 Feet East. As one of FUSE’s original residents, Rich played a major part in the brand’s evolution, helping take it from a free afterparty to one of the most respected event brands and labels on the planet. As a core FUSE artist, Rich has delivered 11 classy EPs on the FUSE London imprint. In October 2020, the debut album ‘Know the Score’ lands, his crowning career achievement. The 10-tracker spans the full breadth of the house genre and is the culmination of 20 years production work, taking influence from his varied involvement in music as a DJ, raver, drummer in bands and pirate radio devotee, devouring the sounds on Weekend Rush FM.

Elsewhere the DJ/producer draws on his strongly identifiable sound to run two vinyl imprints,NxT Records and What NxT. The tastemaker favourites draw influence from techno and minimal house, while never forgetting Rich’s raver roots taking influence from jungle and hardcore.

His DJ highlights include appearances at most of the scene’s major venues such as DC-10 (Paradise, Cuttin’ Headz) Watergate, Space, Amnesia, Robert Johnson, Warehouse Elemenstratt, Mint Warehouse, Tobacco Docks, Studio 338 and The Warehouse Project. At the same time, he is versatile enough to command the decks over long sets at intimate venues such as Hopetosse, Ibiza Underground, Bret and CDV. Festival appearances in 2019 included Cocoon in The Park, BPM and Mint Festival.

Releasing regularly, he’s gained the support of many other DJs including The Martinez Brothers, Tini, Marco Carola, Enzo Siragusa, Jamie Jones, WAFF,Steve Lawler, MEAT, Matthias Kaden, East End Dubs, Alan Fitzpatrick, Eats Everything and Darius Syrossian.

Prior to his ‘Know The Score’ album dropping, Rich enjoyed an industrious first half of 2020, including a huge EP on WYLD, collaborative work with Darius Syrossian (Moxy Muzik) and remixes for INFUSE, Moan and SASH.

Meanwhile he continues to demonstrate a very keen ear with What NxT delivering the goods for new and established artists alike. Rich also continues his radio residency on Rinse FM with Fuse London and launches a new weekly show on Ibiza Global Radio
