Micro Images for Guitar - Hugo Vasco Reis (live)

Inspired by (and started in) the spot where I stayed for a day on sabbatical van travels in Estes Park, CO. I almost got stuck on the steep dirt road leading up to the secluded campsite, but it was so worth it. The birds are a field recording I took on my phone while having breakfast. All other sounds are from the Moog Matriarch, some of which were recorded on-site, as I had my gear with me in the van running on solar panels.

I'm really stoked about the new Richard Water's waterphones being loving made by Brooks Hubbert!  He has totally channeled Richard's energy, spirit and further evolved the waterphone.  I will make a proper demo of just the waterphone soon, but today I played live over a looped sonic bed of Buchla Music Easel analog synth textures.
