Faithful to techno since its beginnings: we welcome Ben Sims, as always, with wide open arms. The UK mainstay still has a lot under his belt and will relentlessly show you a thing or two in our latest REC series.

His two-hour set recorded in Room 01 is jam-packed with slappy kicks and a bouncy aesthetic, indissociable proof of his rave heritage — a solid deal to be listened to for all techno aficionados, past and present, without any compromise.

On September 28th, 2012 we had the honor of hosting Truncate a.k.a Audio Injection at one of our favorite little rave caves, 222 Hyde. The idea of the creator series is to host top notch talent with the intention of having them play the whole night, thus creating an intimate atmosphere and allowing them to veer as deep off into their own musical direction as possible. @ben-sims has been one of my favourite DJs for over twenty years and sets the standard for mixing techno records. I have been buying Ben’s records since the late nineties and he has always been one of those ‘buy-on-site’ producers. His legendary labels like Theory, Hardgroove and Ingoma set the standard for driving, hard, funky tribal techno. His disco-infused techno releases were always one of my favourites to play back in the day (and still are!).

I still have my copies of Ben’s mix CDs – Escapism Part 1 & Part 2, Welcome To My World and Fabric 73. Mixes I studied as much as I enjoyed and listened to on repeat. Listening to Ben mix has always made me want to get better at DJing and for that I salute and respect him to no end.

Anytime I have seen Ben live, it has been a real treat and a humbling education in the art of mixing.

Warehouse Manifesto presents: BEN SIMS In The Warehouse

Vincent's humble beginnings saw him playing records for private parties at the age of 16 locally in his hometown of Salerno. After years of experience cultivated in various clubs, he created a project called "Addicted to Techno" which encompasses a movement of clubbers throughout Italy. In 2018 he met the legendary Danilo Vigorito, an established world-famous DJ and producer, and became his pupil, producing an EP "Grade One" for Danilo's label Orion Muzik.
Since then, Vincent has seen victories and successes by releasing a number of other EPs, including "The Dream Come True" on AF Records, a well-known Swiss label, as well as having signed with the Colombian label "Techno Addicts Records" which released his EP "Back to the Roots".
The focal point of his career is certainly the meeting with Craft, a well-known New York producer, with whom he immediately establishes a beautiful musical relationship, landing with him in the underground techno scene of Detroit.
Since 2020 Vincent has started the project “My home is your Club” which is based on a series of improvised Live sessions together with a special guest at each session. The project is growing and will offer excellent surprises.
