Bitsy Mae wanted to be a country star, like Dolly Parton, but her parents wanted her to stay home and shuck corn.  She got mad one day and burned down the house, then burned down the town.  She was put in a mental institution.  She burned the mental institution and down and ran.  She thumbed a ride from Kentucky to Tennessee to the Grand Ole Opry, where she would, at last, be the country star she dreamed she'd be.  She arrives but the Opry is closed.  So she knocks the window out with a big rock, goes in, finds that famous circle, stands in it and gives her best performance ever of Dolly's huge hit "Jolene."  She sang to an empty house and sounded like a mouse.  Bounty Hunters show up, the big dogs started barking.  Bitsy knew it was time to run, but before she did, she lit a match to torch the Opry, but they found her just in time, but still she managed to get away, and is still on the run to this day.  She's most likely hanging out a karaoke bar on the outskirt of town, most like near Dollywood.  If you see her, please notify authorities. Thank you for listening.  Video is on Youtube. Grew up on country and pop music. I love singing and songwriting,. I've met and talked with a few of the greats like Dolly and Johnny Cash - something I will treasure always. If I can, in my lifetime, be half as good as they, then I won't have failed. I love all genres of music; especially music and lyrics that grab the heart. I enjoy writing with other songwriters. I love it when a song takes on its own life and evolves into something greater than was intended. My goal is not to be famous, but to share my songs and sing my heart out for those who listen. Wow! The world is filled with great entertainers. I'm grateful to be even a small part of it. My hats off to all the singer/songwriters out there working hard to make their dreams come true!
