This month’s mix is by Region Salvaje who's based between Moscow and Saint Petersburg. Nowadays Dima is playing in a band called Argunauts. He made a mix with material from his tape collection (mainly Soviet and Italian). The main narrative of this mix is a tribute to Dmitry Vasilev who 'introduced' Dima into electronic music. 
Dmitry was a music journalist and focal point of industrial and experimental music and events in Russia, since the early 90s. He wrote a book called Viva Italia, which was the first attempt (in Russia) to systematize information about the cultural phenomenon of experimental, industrial noise, electroacoustic, avant-garde and other unusual music from Italy. The book includes information on more than 800 artists, photographs and detailed descriptions of releases. He tragically passed away 3 years ago during the filming of movie about the occult-death industrial movement in 80s. This film is now online. Watching Tinnitus gave rise to record this mix.

We've decided to stay in Greece for the 8th episode of our monthly Casts and join forces with super talented and unclassifiable artist Anatolian Weapons.

More than 15 years producing music speaks for itself about the vast knowledge of the Athenian artist who, after exploring the borders of EBM and Krautrock with his other 2 monikers Dream Weapons and Fantastikoi Hxoi, found his path under the alias of Anatolian Weapons, bringing both styles and adding a more spiritual vibe. 

His works as remixer are also remarkable, we had the pleasure to feature him last year with an amazing rework of Shujumi, included on the acclaimed release from Volta Cab "Balearic Balsam EP".

Also need to be mentioned his passion for tribalism and Greek folk music, both well reflected on his style, with outstanding works that have found a place in renowned imprints like "Beats in Space", "Emotional Rescue" and "Dark Entries" among others.

We invite you to this obscure psychedelic trip, set you mind free and get ready for the dancefloor.
