MAN2.0 - Oumuamua

German-born but Austria-based Jorkes is on a great run of form right now. The Freeride Millenium label head is an icon of the queer scene whose music always highlights the importance of the dance floor as a place of liberation. She is a resident at Stuttgart's Romantica, conceived the brilliant IMPACT compilation series on Freeride Millenium and always cooks up fresh and emotive club tracks that fuse house, disco and techno.

This new remix is part of an EP by Super Drama that also features remixes by Tomas Jef and Grace Sands. Jorkes's remix is a standout, though, with taught, pinging kick drums making for a groove full of swing. Coarse hi hats up top and sinewy synths make for a steely but steamy vibe with wordless vocal coos and fizzing pads all intensifying as the track unfolds. It's a humid and atmospheric track that eventually brings rays of hope and light thanks to some bright chords later on.

Jorkes shows off another superb side to her sound with this fresh remix.

Starting the year with our VA series “Oddness” loaded with more weirdness and rarities. For Volume III we have on board a bunch of new and outstanding artists such as: Nick Hanzo & das molekuel, JGR, Ruksby, Second Gate and Ambrosia.
With “das molekuel” Belly Dance Services mastermind Nick Hanzo and his partner Geraldine have the goal to let molecules sparkle through electrifying music. Their new track 'Blaetterwald' is like a leave that gently starts to dance through marvelous Indie Dance lands, followed by gentle pirouettes until finally turning into wind like energy that never stops moving.
JGR (Julián García-Reyes) makes his Bonkers debut with 'Awaken'. The Chilean producer and DJ based in Madrid brings us a track that mixes elements ranging from new wave to electro, combined with nostalgic melodies that recall musical landscapes from the second half of the 80's.
Rising producer from Moscow Ruksby presents 'Numeros' it will fill you with a signature groove, a little dark, but not evil, at medium speeds, with a pinch of brutality and notes of decadence.
Inspired by the heat of the Mexican desert, barb wire and rusted walls, Second Gate delivers 'Frontera' his artistic vision of a hostile environment through synth stabs, powerful basslines and a creeping ambiance made out of live samples and granular synthesis. This one’s an EBM Monster designed to bring chaotic energy and a psychedelic feel to any dance floor it is played in.
Closing the VA, rising from the Pacific of Mexico, Ambrosia is the artistic name of Alexis Ramírez, an electronic music artist from Puerto Vallarta. He delivers 'Into Your Soul' with a dark touch and a hypnotic sequence, with flashes of melancholic overtones, ideal for opening the dance floor, with this track we conclude our third edition of Oddness.

He started his career as a DJ/ producer of music
progressive/trance/dream house, has worked with many big
labels,Positiva, Urban, DBX, Subway, Metrotraxx.

In 1998 he achieved a great success in the UK charts with the
single "Sky Plus" with the project Nylon Moon.

Currently collaborated with the label Ivreatronic and produced

After Altamont, the mysterious live band alias of Stavros Potamitis and Constantinos Parisinos, return to Inside Out Records with a truly collaborative EP, “Elektriki Rembetologia”. Rebetiko briefly can be described as the urban popular song of the Greeks, especially the poorest, from the late 19th century to the 1950s, outlawed and driven underground during the Ottoman Empire. Rebetiko grew out of particular urban circumstances. Often its lyrics reflect the harsher realities of a marginalized subculture's lifestyle. Thus one finds themes such as crime, drink, drugs, poverty, prostitution and violence, but also a multitude of themes of relevance to Greek people of any social stratum: death, eroticism, exile, exoticism, disease, love, marriage, matchmaking, the mother figure, work, war.
After Altamont set a psychedelic, theatrical, hypnotic journey throughout the album. They fuse slow hypnotic grooves, analog electronics and traditional Greek musical instruments for their interpretation of the known Mpournovalia and Tha Spasw Koupes, featuring original vocals by the incredibly talented Dunja Botic. The third track Aspra Xwmata is an original song which includes a virtuoso original Greek bouzouki improvised solo and spoken vocals by Anna Maria Harokopou, a very influential music personality in the Athenian Electronic Music Scene. The albums psychedelic journey is strengthened by beautiful remixes from Lamusa II, Steve Pepe, METAMAN (WonTon Records) and Anna Disclaim.
