Horror ReDubs takes the sinister soundscape of Vexillary’s third LP, Horror in Dub, and mutates it into something even darker, heavier, and more brutal. Each track from the original album is stripped to its raw core and transplanted into a new body, creating a collection that feels like a true horror sequel.

Ten hand-selected producers, chosen by Vexillary, were tasked with reimagining different tracks from Horror in Dub through their unique lenses. From the industrial IDM rework of "Insurrection" by Blush Response, to the breathtaking deep-dub update of "My Vertigo" by bass music veteran Leon Switch, to the glitch heavy reface of "Paris Spleen" by the always innovative VHS Head, and beyond, each of the 10 collaborators has breathed new life into the album, turning it into an even more diverse and futuristic output.

With Horror ReDubs, Vexillary offers more than just a remix album—it’s a complete reinvention of fear itself, lurking within the circuits of a digital wasteland. The result bridges the gap between past and future, where ghostly beats meet the relentless drive of a dystopian soundtrack, forming the digital nightmares of tomorrow. Ultimately, Horror ReDubs maintains the deep meaning and spirit of the original, but morphs into a whole new entity through the witchcraft of remix.

Berlin-based record label Wie Ein Gott prepare to unleash ‘Sledgehammer‘ from Berlin-based producer XTR Human...Our pick is Baha‘s version of ‘Sledgehammer‘ thanks to its warehouse-primed techno sermon infused in euro-trance sweat. Kicking off with smoked vocals and horror-score synths, the track plunges into a blackout of breaks. As the track evolves, thumping kick-drums intertwine with bleached arpeggios and decayed monologues, wrapping the audience in a climax of ecstasy.

After two standout releases on Optimo Music, Glasgow electronic four piece The Junto Club return with their debut EP on brand new label Snap, Crackle & Pop, born out of the London club night of the same name. The A side features two slices of dance floor ready post punk, throwing references from everything from Suicide to Weatherall. On the B-side Khidja's remix teases out the disco groove before growing into a monstrous acid house inspired freakout, paving the way for the Ivan Smagghe & Cross version which delves even further into acidy motoric beats.

The cosmic-pop french producer Sofian Rouge comes back a few month after the release of his "Floating" mini-album with this remix EP on Global Warming Records. First, one of our favorite italian dj and producer Fabrizio Mammarella (head of Slow Motion Records and of mysterious disco-influenced electronic projects as Telespacio or Black Spuma) gave us a killer slow and dark version of « Starglazer », shaped for cold nights, obscure sets and sweaty clubs. Same track choice to remix for JMII, spanish producer discovered on John Talabot’s Hivern Discs crew. He brings us to his own universe with deep synths and analog house with this remix that sounds like a soundtrack to space-travel. And as bonus we have a dub version of Cylene 8 by Sofian himself.

This new 12" features 4 edits by Moscovian Dj and producer Grisha Nelyubin, also part of the Odopt project, under his new moniker Blind Rape.
Using unexpected material, from percussive Brazilian obscurities to lost French 80s tapes, ex-Yugoslavian EBM or early 70s heavy krautrock, Nelyubin delivers 4 powerful dancefloor friendly edits which already show a very personal touch.
It will be released June 16th. No digital!

A crowd of vibrantly colored fish move with the current, their numbers are enormous, their movements in unison.
Suddenly out of the darkness a barracuda cuts through the crowd, taking out four or five before disappearing into the shadows.  The crowd moves on as if nothing happened, quickly closing ranks where the missing ones swam only seconds before.
Fish disappear, darkness envelopes us.  Cold and lifeless where light has never penetrated... Five thousand feet, ten thousand.  Deeper, where only strange, self-illuminating echoniderms move eerily through the currents.
Then suddenly we hear a voices...

Desert Sound Colony - Lose My Rhythm (STW Premiere)

Paris based Nocta Numerica promotes Electro, Disco, Italo and Acid Music according to it's Bandcamp page.
However, with the release of Hamburg's quadratschulz's Mini LP, "Not a Number", they might need to add Tech-Goth to that list. 
Opening track "Opportunity Cost" kicks in at about 140bpm and would not sound out of place on a dusty tape cassette of Detente era lost Coldwave classics or in little known but hugely influential Kit Kat Club in London in the 80s that played host to Soft Cell and Visage as well as being a den of amphetamine and cider.
As nostalgic as it might make the 80s Goth brigade feel, this is totally forward thinking, with an urgent booming bass, retro claps and just a hint of acid. Like Black Strobe or even Trisomie 21.  Call it Goth, call it techno, call it what you want. It's not a number.

Earlier this year, @c_a_r aka Chloé Raunet’s second album 'PINNED' was released to huge acclaim from the likes of DJ Mag, Resident Advisor and Trax Magazine.

The first of two multifaceted remix EPs out later this month, 'PINNED Up' realises the powerful dancefloor potential of Raunet's material and features contributions from the likes of Marcus Worgull, Bawrut and Lokier. @michael-mayer-kompakt heads up the release with a remix that unleashes the latent kinetic energy and emotive power of original album closer 'This City'. @kumplabel is delighted to release the first EP by @hlm38, the naughty half of duo Ricco and member of the Notte Brigante crew from Lyon. The three original tracks, a mix of ethnic looting and industrial racket in slow motion, feel like steel wrapped in Turkish delight. @front-de-cadeaux’s take on “Illicite Cong” is reminiscent of an erotic rave flavoured with Oriental spices. Last but not least, @krisbaha slices up “Exit” like a tablier de sapeur (local Lyonnais dish) served on a julienne of syncopated samples and noisy beats.”
