I sent music I titled "Ravine" to Paulo Chagas, who listened closely to it and responded with his alto sax. Our album explores this close listening in context of various mental landscapes, with this piece, being in a metaphoric ravine.

Entheogenic Sound Explorers (ESE), are the italian musicians Stefano Contini and Piero Marchesi. 

When painting their musical landscapes they seek for inner and cosmic consciousness with the use of elements of Nature, melodic synthsounds, varied rhythmic elements and hidden voices. The crispy, warm and organic infused ambient with occasional parts of guitar and bass creates a lovely, timeless sound.with psychedelic flavours and presented in a clear, transparent sound spectrum.  

Over the years and different albums the band have taken several musical influences and channeled them into something that is truly their own.
But if comparisons must be made it could be with The Orb or Future Sound Of London. Expect a masterful blend of analog and digital sounds, which will carry you away on a  psychedelic journey through the gardens of dubby, hypnotic ambient with a sense of hope and being.

With our Music we would like to encourage self and cosmic consciousness, respect for Nature and Sacred Plants, and development of the human being through exploration of the self, arts and meditation. To explore the dimensions of the magic garden, whether it be vegetable, animal or more spiritual and cosmic, is to undertake a trip toward our deeper perception, which recalls the multiple faces of our vital cradle, Mother Earth, Gaia. What we want to represent is a range of vibrations that can only be discovered through careful listening. As we all are one big organic lump living life that deeply connected with all are dependent on each other and the environment around us. It is in this open window, where we are mirroring  living and observing contemporary symptoms of times, we can create, interpret, communicate, our unique set of experiences, visualize our thoughts and doubts & use it as a frame for confirmation of your own state of mind, a recognizing tool for mental health as a grounding - a start, the moment, yours own perfect Now - Whatever you find useful on your path in life to wisdom, freedom and trust, you will find your own tools on your way or you will make them yourself, it will and cannot be given to you, it's for you to discover, you can and will not learn it from someone, the source is for you to find, cause nobody can not teach or learn away we can only inspire, be the creative, communicators, toolmakers, reflectors, living mirrors, the artist.  MUSIC -  gives us the possibility to experience how music, sound-storys, organic field recordings, atmospherics, noise aso. is reflecting and expressing the state of mind of the people and culture of the habitat in our own time. Every region of the earth has it's own musical expression, identity and language, (ever changing of course), some are very active, upfront and visual, others grounded in old ritual tradition, others purely celebrating mother nature and life. The nordic AMBIENT music expression today is up front, modern, active, well known and appreciated widely around the world, for it's emotional seriousity, elemental character and fascinating, recognizable almost visual atmosphere of the natures direct impact on the soundscape, atmosphere and story told or translated.

 NATURE -  has no borders, nor has the music, neither do we. As we get into the ambient, sound-scaping, storytelling, exploring spirit and ancient ground, we get wise on our own habitat, nature, our people and ourself, trough the fine tools of art, sound & music. Sharing these reflections in musical works, experience & wisdom with our brothers & sisters, is what art is all about. The artist will always seek and explore all sides of life & nature, then translate and express it trough the tools of art, so that others who don't have the time, means or the gift to explore it, is given access to this source of knowledge, trough the artists work with the umbrella of all arts, the music. The only, yet, universal language humans have.

 INSIDE you in your home on this earth, in our world of solar systems and galaxys, lives the universe to be, your guide, partner and chi in your effort to see and to be a part of something bigger than yourself.
