The Eclectic Collective – composition

This song began with JJ, as many of our songs do, who composed the outline on the keys, drums, and bass. He then let everyone else in on it immediately. Ken was first up to bat by laying his always cunning drums in there. After he had a beat to work with, Josh used his tree trunk of a five-string fretless bass to complete the rhythm section. Soon after, Tez and Stephen both laid their magical guitars in there. Once we had it all in the can, Stephen used his powers of production to give us a great mix.
  This one came together relatively quickly, which is a good sign that we're all enthusiastic about what we're creating. We hope you enjoy listening to this as much as we enjoyed making it.

This is an old Rock song I wrote back in the '80's, just some good old hard Rock & Roll song for a hair band of that time. The lyrics are kinda lame and it wasn't recorded really that well, I had cheap recording equipment at the time, maybe a TASCAM cassette multi-track recorder. Nothing much to say about it, I sang it so please forgive, the Chorus repeats too many times I think. It should have had more leads. Charlie is playing a mean Harmonica on it but it's buried in the mix! The video will be dropping on Friday May 16,2025 on YouTube. The video is new and is a little sexy so if you're faint of heart - Viewer Beware!😂 By today's standard it's nothing but a TV commercial! Just a lot of dancing! The more I use the SUTRAS in my daily life, the more I find them helpful—they not only allow me to increase my own awareness (of my intent, perspective, and focus or priority at a given point in time), they also allow me to influence my thoughts and feelings, by rooting them into a chosen, conscious mindset, to better regulate and balance my moods… and this song is a great example of me doing just that.

Originally written as a mellow trip-hopy BOWsutra song, a humble reflection on unconditional love and the concept of death, this adaptation of the song shifts the energy into SHOWsutra and FLOWsutra—to honor the wild love and lighthearted fun flowing energy dogs aka our BFFs bring into our lives, forever ❤️‍🔥 

This song is like a mighty power punk rock pep talk reminding me/us balls matter, and “Grass is for pooping, and also rolling” LOL ;)
