Imagine youre hit by a freight train and at the very same moment youre tickled with a feather. Thats exactly how the groove of Dole & Kom feels like, and the track Phara Oh is another prime example. Bouncy beats and booming bass proclaim an unmistakable message: Its all about the dance floor! A melodic torrent accumulates with each and every bar before it finally erupts and cascades through the arrangement in shiny streams. Then exotic singing starts and the track takes off, leaving the grey world of everyday life a thousand miles behind. The Remix by The Glitz is just as compelling, yet completely different: Based on an extremely heavyweight bass line their version merges the organic warmth of the original into explosive Funk. Away is the name of the second strike on this record, and it is just as uncompromising in terms of push and pressure. Weightless delays, drifting sounds and subliminal siren singing remind us that the outbreak of spring is just around the corner. This again means that Kombinat100 may not be missing! The remix of the legendary combo from Mecklenburg draws its hypnotic power from lively percussions and a distinct feeling of deepness, creating their signature vibe.

Featuring on the release are label first teamers Lehar, Olderic, Musumeci and Peter Pardeike. They've crafted a scintillating selection of reworks. We're very excited to present the contribution of one Peter Pardeike to When We Dip readers today in full premiere. Pardeike has sculpted a beautiful version of his own, a near eight minute epic in which the instrumental rises to meet the supreme quality of the vocal performance. Enjoy!

Last year Rebirth Records celebrated 10 years with the release of the acclaimed compilation selected and mixed by Larry Heard. We are now happy to present 'Rebirth 10 Remixed': a special collection, available on a limited 2x12” vinyl edition, and three digital parts, including brand new versions of some of the classics of the label in the first ten years.

The first part includes remixes from Red Axes, Rampa, Modular Project and VVV. The hot Tel Aviv duo Red Axes bring their trademark new wave sound to a tropical dimension remixing Robytek's 'Luna Africana' combining unusual melodies of bells, chimes and perc drums. The Keinemusik boss Rampa is back with a killer remix of 'Deep Musique' by Pasta Boys Feat. Osunlade, definitely another dancefloor peak time cut on Rebirth. The italian duo Modular Project add their electronic-balearic touch to the Blond:ish vocal anthem ‘Wizard of Love’, while the misterious bass producer VVV reworks another classic on the label, ‘Crossroads’ by T-Polar, giving us a sublte but heavy deep and futuristic synth work. 

The cover sleeve is a work by Emil Schult, who has created a painting especially for the Rebirth's Anniversary. Emil is known for his work with electronic music pioneers Kraftwerk. Schult's collaboration with founders Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider saw him actively involved in writing lyrics as well as generating the design for some of the band's most famous covers.

Their sound has been influenced by the SOS parties, and at the same time their sound has inspired us - just like this collection of music will do in the future. Summer of love" is a song that was written in California by the talented artist Lou Ella. Eisor met her and immediately fell in love with Lou Ella's unique voice. 
While the whole world was shut down during those past months, while millions of artists were deprived from expressing themselves through concerts, festivals or clubs, Eisor decided to honor the theme of this song by creating an electronic remix out of it. 
The lyrics "Summer of love, where have you gone?" have never made that much sense than today. The summer vibe we all need is in every single part of this track. From a Greek island were the two female artists met, to Los Angeles passing by Paris, this first collaboration between them shows promise.

It is our great pleasure to present you his EP called "The Call" in collaboration with the fantastic vocalist Elly Ball! In addition to the vocal original and instrumental version, Tebra, signs another song, "Rosa", which translated into English means "Dew"! The EP with two or three originals is accompanied by a fantastic remix of the Greek music producer DSF, on which we don't have to spend words of praise! All in all, one really strong release on The Purr!
