Zur allerallerallerletzten Veranstaltung in der so heiß geliebten RäubXhöhle des Mensch Meier zu Berlin hatte ich das große Vergnügen, nochmal, wie zu Beginn, mit dem hochverehrten Heavy Mental [@heavymentalberlin], all-night-long Kneipenmusik zu zelebrieren! Es war uns ein formidables Fest. Aus geplanten vier Stunden wurden dann irgendwie fast acht =)

Connwax celebrates its 10th release with a diverse four-track EP featuring contributions from Carlotta Jacobi, Oliver Rosemann, Justyn Nell, and Red Rooms. Connwax 10 presents a well-rounded selection of dancefloor-effective techno tracks, each offering its own unique energy and character.

Carlotta Jacobi opens the EP with “Stories Untold”, an intense floor-filler that blends bleepy synths with crisp and punchy percussion, creating an impactful introduction. Following up on the A-side, Oliver Rosemann’s “Infected” takes a more raw approach, channeling classic 90s techno vibes with eerie synths.

On the B-side, Justyn Nell’s “Tiles” delivers a deeper, captivating sound, merging demanding percussion and layered textures. Red Rooms wraps things up with “Undercover Expeditions”, a dreamy, flowy track that takes the listener to another sphere.

Dada su producción siempre refrescante, no ha visto la necesidad de reinventarse por completo y, en su lugar, sigue sacando su techno siempre atemporal, para deleite de los fans de todo el mundo.

Antilophobia is something of a "Hidden Gem" among Berlin techno producers. He's certainly the most discreet of them, crafting vegetarian meals in his food truck by day and donning his producer's hat by night. Initially appearing on Chez.Kito.Kat Records in 2018 with a 100% ambient album, he's since absorbed the local flavor for a dark, cyclical groove techno on his last two EPs. The "Color Shape" EP, like its predecessor, was produced 100% on modular and hardware in a single take. There are no touch-ups; the sound is raw and unrefined, and it describes the beauty of the moment.
