Nice track. Killer lead work and great overall feel. Only suggestion would be to leave a bit of air in the song. The solo could have a few open measures. Add dynamics to the overall composition. I really enjoyed the track.

Full track n°9 from the Scots Wha Hae album (2022) : as I've been hired in many weddings to play bagpipe throughout all these years, it gave me the inspiration to pen this tune.

This alt rock song deals with the theme of freedom, led by strong guitar sounds. The single has been recorded, mixed and mastered in May 2022 at Rare Elements’ own studio in Tampere, Finland. The song has been composed, written and arranged by Harri Sarpavaara. He plays all instruments and sings on the single. He has also recorded, mixed and mastered this single.

When I knew that in this year 2022 the centenary of the birth of the composer Iannis Xenakis is being celebrated, I got the impulse of composing a piece inspired by his music. The result has been the composition that I present here.

As the crocuses rise from the ground.
The boots of the wise man still tramping them down.
As the world makes its slow turn around.
An infinite circle just spinning to ground.
Don't be sad that you live by the ocean,
stone throw to the sea. 
Whilst your bodies in infinite motion, 
but how can that be? 

First things first comes the test, got to prove you're the best, just hitch up on your horse and lets go.
'Cause the meltwater flows where the crocuses grow, 'tween the rocks and the stones that don't know. 
That the river has taken its toll.
That the winter is set to move on.
That the boulders that it set to roll.
Will return to the place they belong.

As the crocuses rise in the spring.
The world in a state of bewildered mourning. 
Though most made it through to this dawn.
There is bare earth where once stood a ripe field of corn. 
There's a chill that comes with your devotion, 
an obvious fee.
Like the wind crossing over the ocean,
just naturally.
