this Song For The Children was inspired by the news stories about drought in Ghana; mothers would give their children the last of the food and water, and eventually these children had to fend for themselves and take care of each other... heartbreaking! Most of us don't know how the Other Half Lives!

How The Other Half Lives

this describes a true story about a woman I know who went to work at an AIDS/HIV Orphanage in Calcutta, and saw the difficult life of abandoned street children. She also saw a remarkable act of kindness and rescue, and her amazed reaction really brought it home to me--all of us need rescue! Any one of us could have been born into desperate circumstances, and we need to reach out in every way we can!

A song written in thankfulness to my bone marrow donor for the gift of life. This gift of life and hope each one of us can give to others when we reach out in kindness. Sponsor a child through Compassion. They will be eternally grateful for this priceless gift.

How Can I Say Thank You

"She Has A Name" was inspired by the story of a young girl who was stolen from her family and sold into the sex trade.  Her story is just one of millions more.

Nearly 1.2 million children are trafficked every year into some facet of the sex trade and 300,000+ children work in the sex trade in North America!  When focusing on a number alone, the statistics are staggering...yet it is important to remember that each person caught in slavery has a unique story – a story that will likely go unheard.
