If a track you submitted does not appear in this list, it’s probably because another of your tracks appeared in our Fresh Faves or on the BBC Music Introducing Mixtape during the last three months — we ask that artists featured on either wait three months before resubmitting to give others a chance. We also don’t accept short previews or SoundCloud GO tracks that can only be heard as 30 second previews, and tracks made private after submission, which cannot be included in playlists. You will be able to resubmit the track in future. Tracks that have been previously submitted and tracks from banned artists will also be removed.

Following the recent success of atmospheric single 'Moonbloom', their new track 'Solar System' is a step away from minimalist choral storytelling, choosing instead sumptuous layers of shimmering instrumentation and fiercely intimate vocals. 
In a haze of electric guitar glow with dreamlike violin & sax, the song paints a picture of space, each brushstroke loaded with flashing images of yearning and defiance. Bursts of vocal harmony accompany the strong lead voice, telling a story of returning to ourselves and our bodies. With an accompanying surrealist video made by songwriter BEA, 'Solar System' searches for balance amid the swirling constellations of busy humanity.

It’s for every person that has decided not to go quietly into the night - choosing not to be disheartened by someone that strays from the relationship, instead choosing to rise up stronger, knowing that they will never be forgotten.

Never Forget

My third single. This song is probably my most personal so far. It's stripped back to reflect how exposed the nature of what I'm talking about is.
This is about the best and worst time of my life really - one of those moments that anyone can find themselves in, suddenly in a relationship where so many people can get hurt, but not being able to walk away from it, or to face up to what it is.

Firmly in the UK Jazz space, The Cage is a song that talks about how easy it is to create habits in relationships that we later resent or struggle with. And how
the relationships that we watch and learn from in our early lives can often dictate who we end up partnering with, even if we don't recognise it at first. Our lives are a product of our own choices, but those choices are harnessed by what we came to know as normal in childhood. Nevertheless, they're still our choices!

The Cage

This is a song about wantonly losing yourself in love. About one of those loves that take you to another place, where you can only see one another, and live for the moments in which you can be together, losing sleep for time together, or to think of each other. And how enraptured you can be, it's blissful, but then years go by and you're both different, changed, that fleeting, magical moment is lost, and that person might be too.

A b-side track in homage to my sister, Genevieve. She's the cute, weird, and wonderful one in our family of 7. I miss her every time she finds that she can't find the energy to talk to anyone, including me, her closest sis. X
