Quiet River

I started writing this in the seventies and first recorded it in the eighties. Finally decided to give it a new try. Just piano and vocals, with a touch of acoustic guitar, accordeon, and a few more details to bring joy and variety to the face of the land.

Assenta os dois pés na beira do abismo.
Enfrenta o mar. Resiste ao vento.
Não caias. Não temas.
Para quê nervosismo?

Porto De Abrigo

I love an infectious beat and that is what was driving this track to me from the start. I also wanted to get more creative and scrapped a few samples I used initially, and instead made the sounds myself, for example the kick and bass and keys. I went a bit experimental with the vocal effects as I loved playing with them and using my vocals like another instrument.
