For our 23rd edition of Mavrica Tech, we present a gifted Producer and DJ coming from Sheffield, United Kingdom under the name Tommy Vicari Jnr. Tommy is also known by his many other aliases such as V.I.C.A.R.I and many others Aliases he came up with! He's a veteran of music. Tommy was in many groups such as; 76 79, Hollow Fraud & OPTO MYSTICS.He's been an avid label owner under the name ARMADILLO BRAND where he has released many grooving tracks throughout the years. Tommy himself has many releases on various labels such as; Politics Of Dancing, OGE, Drone, Robsoul, and many more! In today's mix, he showed his collection of raw beats and rhythms with funky grooving disco with a touch of House and Tech House

Mavrica Presents: Tommy Vicari Jnr (UK) [MT023]

Patricia Wolf is a musician, sound designer, and DJ residing in Portland, Oregon. Wolf uses electronics, voice, and field recordings to produce non-linear compositions that draw listeners to a hypnotic inner world. Her use of melody and repetition manipulate the listeners' perception of time, conjuring vivid textures, and atmospheres. Her debut album, I'll Look For You In Others was released in February 2022 on Past Inside The Present and was quickly followed up by her 2nd LP See-Through which was released in May 2022 on the Spanish label, Balmat. We're in love with both releases, and are honoured to have her kick off this broadcast. 

About the mix: "For this mix I wanted to create the feeling of a chill out room. I imagine a big party happening nearby, but it's a bit overwhelming and you need a place to hide out for a while and get centered. I want the listener to find a low lit cozy place to lie down to let the music wash over them. With eyes closed, I want the listener to allow their imagination to paint images of strange and beautiful places to explore."

After 4 years, Void is back on Agos with his 4th Album. REM is a dreamy and cinematic release and it's Void's take on ambient music. Inspired by dreaming and the importance of sleep, this album represents a journey into the deeper realms of our minds. To close the album we have a special collaboration between Void & Materia with the track Adenosine.

REM will be out next Sunday on the 3rd of September.
