Alexander Vertinsky...

This name is indispensable to the Russian musical culture and is part and parcel of Variety Show history. 
The great singer, poet and actor he gained great popularity in the pre-revolutionary Russia. In the 20-s he had to leave the country for Europe with the cream of Russia's intelligentsia. The minstrel of emigration he became widely famous in France, Great Britain, Germany, America. Among his friends were: Fyodor Shalyapin, Ivan Mozjukhin, Marlene Dietrich, Charlie Chaplin and Anna Pavlova as well as the Russian Bohemia of the first emigration wave. His phenomenon was talked about all over the world. The stars of Hollywood came to see his performances, and millions of "Columbia" and "Pariafon" records spread his fame throughout the world. His unique expressiveness of performance, his voice, a rare gift of a drama actor in combination with great artistic ability became a foundation of a very special genre. The Russian-French balladeer had lived 25 years away from his Motherland. China was the last period of Alexander Vertinsky's emigration. The numerous Russian public were enchanted to see him in Shanghai and Kharbin. His tour was a stunning success! 
There he married a young beauty Lidiya Tsirgvava, nee Dadiani. 
In 1943 Vertinsky came back in Soviet Russia and won great popularity for a third time. He performed in the official variety shows, collecting full houses, but he became "taboo" for the press and the soviet establishment.

In these difficult times, we have to listen music that elevates and heals us. Thats why I'm sharing this meditational and very calming sound journey that I recorded for a meditation application a year ago. As its copyright period is over, I can finally share this with you to help you in these tough times that people stays at home and looking for a source to spread positive vibes. This sound journey was produced by me with a good friend from Tulum who played all of the instruments. He doesn't want to be exposed so I'm keeping his name secret with respect to his choice. It was a pleasure and a great experience for me to produce this project. I'm glad that I accept this project to create this beautiful sound journey that I listened many times on my meditations and whenever I feel to slow down.
I hope this journey will elevate you and heal you in these times to get back to your positive state. I wish that the world will get through from this process and learn from the outcomes of these isolation times which we have to learn the mistakes and the the pollution that we created into the whole world. May you be in peace and live in prosperity with your loved ones.

Sound Journey & Meditation Music

Dear friends 

We proudly present the soundtrack of our first official collaboration. We put our heart and soul into the creation of this journey and we are grateful to finally share the result with you. The one-hour journey consists entirely of Joep Mencke’s own productions and is guided by the voice of Peter Vermeiren of Breath of Freedom. 

Throughout the journey deep continuous breathing cycles are alternated with breath retentions on the out-breath and in-breath, enabling you to travel through your body, mind and spirit, and guiding you gently into higher states of consciousness. After the deep continues breathing cycles, the journey ends with a deep relaxing guided meditation. 

In order to get the best experience possible, please use headphones and lie down somewhere where you won’t be disturbed. Also, please keep in mind that by doing this breathwork you are changing your body physically, you are changing the oxygen ratio, and as result you might feel physical sensations as tingling in your fingers and toes, this is completely normal. 

Shunyata refers to the emptiness of full potential in Buddhism. 

We wish you a beautiful heart and mind opening journey.

Breath Of Freedom & Joep Mencke - Shunyata (Preview)

Dwaal is from Cyprus and DJing since 2012 in various clubs, beach clubs and bars around the world. He studied music production at Manchester in 2013 and Audio Engineering at Berlin in 2015. He was living in Mexico between 2019-2023 and enjoyed the tranquil life in Tulum and played around the best venues in Mexico such as Nomade, Be Tulum, Tree House Tulum, Habitas, Gitano, Hotel Panamera, Departamento, Supra and many more. In the summer of 2023, he returned to his hometown Cyprus and worked at Camelot Beach Club as booking manager and hosted his event series Boogie Around The World by hosting great DJs like Bosq, Scruscru, Birdee and more. He is now heading back to Mexico and planning a tour around South America as well.

He plays diverse music selections from genres like downtempo, electronica, disco, funk, soul, jazz, house music, rare grooves, world music and Latin rhythms.

He had uploaded a lot more DJ sets that he played in his first 7 years of DJing which he played more darker and techy music but he has changed his style and not representing his recent style anymore because he have been playing more groovy, funky and world music vibes in the last 6 years.
