The second in a micro-house experimental series experimenting with the use of field recorded percussive sampling. In this song the sounds of clapping, snapping, table drumming, and mouth pops and clicks are used to create an intricate and detailed evolving percussion layer. The synths work with this to create a fuzzy and warm journey deeper into the soundscape. Even as a small child I wanted to learn a musical instrument...

...since there was a music school in our small town where I grew up, but it was limited to the activities of the local musicians' band, the choice was rather limited... because piano, guitar or saxophone were not offered and that's why I decided me for the trumpet, which was not used for cast-technical reasons, so the FLÜGELHORN became my instrument...
In my youth I turned my back on music and was active in sports towards the end of my teenage years.

I listen and play mostly progressive rock, neofolk and jazz. 

I created this project to explore textures, soundscapes and subtle nuances that are exclusive to synth music. And also to challenge myself and become less reliant on my favourite instrument, while exploring ideas i haven't tried out before.

I like to make textures and atmospheric sounds in your ears.

Joelectrick is a New York based producer and DJ, making electronic music along the lines of techno, acid house, and other genres when it feels right.  He started off as a filmmaker and became serious about making music while living in Hong Kong and connecting with fellow filmmakers that also produced electronic music.  

Taking inspiration from the pioneers of Detroit Techno and Chicago House, as well as European artists such as Kavinsky, Orbital, B12, and 808 State, Joe produces individual tracks, remixes, as well as full live hardware sets.  Although he’s been terrible slow at actually releases this music, he says he’s going to be better about that this year.

In a world full of pressure, anxiety, and alienation I have turned heavily towards music for self expression and for community.  I'm here to enjoy your art and share my own; so welcome my friends!   Since the beginning of 2021 I've been learning more about music production and sound design.  In the process I have created tracks to develop the skills as I learn them, and have enjoyed tracking the progress through each attempt. I have not been able to recover access to my other account [https://soundcloud.com/ha-kekong] for a couple of years.  I have tried a few times to get back into it but SoundCloud doesn't trust me.  Same phone number, same email addresses, and they still claim that they can't verify my identity.  I created that account about three years ago as a substitute to my regular account which SoundCloud temporarily closed.  They closed it as part of some upgrade procedure in their system, the result of a bug that affected many accounts, about two years ago.  Since SC did not inform its users I didn't know if that was permanent or not, so I created that other account which I can't access.  Don't be mad if I have not replied to your message in the past two years, that's because I never got them ; ) ... You can always reach me here though.

You can't see it because of the angle with which I took the shot, aiming down, but beyond those blocks is the sea.  To the left is the Mediterranean, to the right is the Atlantic Ocean.  No it's not Gibraltar, but a little bit further West. ... Actually I checked recently and it is further North more than West, I thought I was facing South when in fact I probably was facing the Atlantic ocean, which is why I suppose the waves were of a decent size where we were.
