Diogo Lopes aka STNDRD (Montalegre, PT) started his techno journey in early 2018 with some releases as STNDRD and Simbiose (duo).

Defined by his hypnotic, dark and mental sound, his music has been released in labels such as Dynamic Reflection, Children of Tomorrow, Edit Select, Subsist, INNSIGNN, ATD, TMM, Ucker Records, R3volution, Warok, Selected Records or BAHN· Records, the label launched in 2020 hand by hand with BAHN· crew, where he is an active member of the collective since 2019.

Diogo has shown his skills lately in the legendary clubs Moog and Razzmatazz in Barcelona, where he is now based, but also performing abroad in Berlin, Oporto, Braga, Cluj and Sofia.

ARTIST'S BIO:
Ậ.Deniậl - also known as Anastasiia, based in St. Petersburg / Russia, started her carrer as a DJ in 2008. Her journey began with underground techno & breakbeat in the techno-club "Tunnel".
Since then, she has made a long way through out diverse electronic music genres.

Meanwhile she's working on her own identity & the production of her own tracks.
In 2019, she created her own event series called Sacred Sound Events, which is built around the underground and hypnotic side of electronic music.

She came from deep space, focusing herself on spiritual truth and natural sound, a warrior with a shamanic drum and a box of global secrets. For her, techno is not a style or a genre - it's more like the perfect instrument of shamanic rhythm that allows us to work with our mental programming and can be used to give birth to a healing process.

We are pleased to present the second installment for our Orbita mix series. This time we have Lopar, straight from the mountains of central Colombia in the city of Manizales where he is working on bringing proposals that he considers of great artistic value. Navigating worlds of sound from ambient, dub, minimal to the deepest and most hypnotic and mental spheres of electronic music. 
His talent as a DJ has allowed him to perform alongside renowned international artists and he has contributed mixes & podcasts to major labels and platforms of our scene.

Our paisa friend guides us through his mix with a steady groove, drifting from club-friendly bangers to mental trip eleganza. Lopar hails from a land of ancient spiritual connection with nature, both terrestrial and cosmical, we like to believe that he purveys a sense of residual mysticism and tribalism throughout his musical language.

We are excited to see what Lopar has in store for us next! Stay tuned ;)

Originally from a metalcore and hardcore background he has always enjoyed electronic and experimental music. We are very excited today to present a new hypnotic journey delivered by the talented producer and co-owner of the Come in Records label Martin Vodicka aka Citty.

Based in Prague, Martin started his artistic project in 2014 focusing on a live modular techno project which aim to present a variety of sounds that goes from dark ambient atmospheres and drones to hypnotic techno.

Khoroχρόνος Ι / Adhil Moorish

Eager to share this week’s contributor: Korpex. Currently a Berlin native, Kai Schutter has been playing records over the last 20 years. In 2011, he departed for Oslo, Norway to enhance his creative process around music and co-founded a club night named “Amenta”. Besides this, Korpex has been a regular of the unique Monument festival that takes place in the enchanting nature of Norway.

With his broad expertise over the years, he has selected a special blend for this edition. His preferable style ranges from thumping house to hypnotic techno, and for this mix he has certainly done the job. Expect broken rhythms, screeching riffs, and all we find fit for some proper transmission of sonic energy.

The third element of the series is by Hydrangea aka Horty Shooter. Expect a deep and warm musical experience.

Hydrangea is a new French electronic producer, doing techno music deeply inspired by nature and its surroundings. She began producing music in early 2014, influenced mainly by the deep and hypnotic Italian techno.

Besides being constantly preoccupied in reshaping her sound and developing new ways of expression through music, she's also a graphic designer and photographer under the alias Horty Shooter, managing the artworks for different music releases and graphic art projects.

It’s always a HUGE honour for us to be able to feature the recording of a DJ or live set in our podcast series - capturing a unique and very special moment in time for the artist, and all the lucky merrymakers fortunate enough to experience it; where it feels like the recording is infused with the energy of that moment, so that you can practically hear, see and feel it all as if you were there. 

We’re super stoked therefore to bring you a recording of the live set performed by Eyvind Blix at this year’s La Vallée Électrique (podcast #093). 

Picture an idyllic setting, 500 happy souls locked together in a celebration of nature, music, life, and your soundtrack is this absolute beauty, keeping you shimmying and shaking in all the right ways as you’re engulfed in a heady state of ethereal bliss, where in that moment, everything just seems to make sense.

Sigh.

“It’s hard to describe in words, but wow…. It was so magical, in all aspects… and it was in the middle of the night, you could taste the dawn in the end of the set. I felt I could really stretch the sound and just let it be very monotonic.”

Heck, we really do get it... nope, we can feel it… the subtlety of the groove and delicate shifts whispering “come with me”, encircled with delicious percussions igniting your senses and pulling you into a warm embrace.

Hells yes!

Hypnotic Black Magic is a Berlin-based DJ inspired by hypnotic/deep/trippy techno, atmospheric ambient and ritualistic drums.
