Life's A Bath

This song was written about a friend of mine who was having trust issues with her boyfriend.  Even so, it's a lively upbeat song, with an ultimately optimistic message. I've managed to keep the original late 80's feel I think?
As with all the tracks on Early Years it was rescued and revived from demo's created in the 1980's and 1990's that were never released.

This is one of my favourite tracks which I always return to. I wrote it on a scorching hot day during one of the warmest summers on record here in the UK, during one of the happiest periods of my life. I do not know where the sadness of the track came from. Maybe I was letting go of something...
