Shark Groover é o projeto do DJ e produtor Rubens Guimarães, de Belo Horizonte. Seus sets e produções fundem elementos de Jazz, Soul e Hip-Hop com as batidas envolventes do House, Minimal e Techno, resultando em faixas sofisticadas e cheias de groove.

Entre os destaques de 2024 estão o EP “Palco” pela gravadora britânica DIGGIN’, com as faixas “Palco”, “WTF” e “3AM” — sendo que “WTF” entrou na playlist Best of Minimal & Deep Tech do Beatport, enquanto “3AM” foi destaque na Best of Jackin House. Lançou ainda “Don’t Get Away” pelo VA da DVRST, o EP “Next Gruuv” pela Addiction 21, o single “Jazzno” pela Creatures of Habit e o EP “The Bluebird” pela MIAW Records.

Em 2025, Shark Groover lançou o EP “3balist” pela Distortion, com a faixa-título entrando no Top 100 Hype Minimal & Deep Tech do Beatport. Também participou pela segunda vez consecutiva do VA Love Songs da Juicy Records, com a faixa “Flip”. Suas Faixas tem recebido suporte dos Martinez Brothers, Daniel Orpi e Jay Mariani.

Shark Groover is the project of DJ and producer Rubens Guimarães, from Belo Horizonte, Brazil. His sets and productions blend Jazz, Soul, and Hip-Hop influences with the immersive rhythms of House, Minimal, and Techno — delivering a refined yet groovy sound.

In 2024, he released the “Palco” EP via UK label DIGGIN’, featuring the tracks “Palco”, “WTF”, and “3AM”. “WTF” was included in Beatport’s Best of Minimal & Deep Tech, while “3AM” was highlighted in Best of Jackin House. Computer Toys as a label gives a home to electronic music, which is not clearly defined by a certain genre, but rather an idea: Taking influences from the 90s and early 2000s into a modern environment without taking ourselves too seriously. Computer Toys was created by DJ and Producer Chris Gerber and is inspired by the scurrility of the early Internet aesthetics - rough and flashy.
