Slamboree is a 10-piece live band with a Smörgåsbord of circus performers, daredevils & entertainers. We take each show as it comes, assembling a different crew from our collective for each show and every gig is very different to the last.

Musically we fuse bass-driven beats with live orchestra, guitars, percussion, loops, visuals, brass, accordian, pyrotechnics & circus. The genres bounce around breakbeat, dubstep, drum & bass, dub & electro swing fused with balkan, folk, and 'gypsy' flavours... all original & all live.

Within this very first year together we've been fortunate enough to perform our live shows at some amazing places such as Glastonbury Festival, Electric Picnic, Boomtown, Shambala, Beatherder, Kendal Calling and the River Thames in London. His band, The Djukella Orchestra, play traditional and contemporary folk music, from jigs, reels and rebel ballads to tango, rhumba and reggae, and pretty much anything in between. Featuring Nye Parsons, one of the most captivating double-bassists you're likely to hear, and some of the finest instrumentalists on the British folk scene, their blend of virtuoso musicianship, witty political comment and a deep repertoire of powerful songs never fails to turn heads. 

In the past decade Jez and various djukellas have played well over a thousand gigs; from Glastonbury Festival to the North Country Fair, New York to Taipei, Union Chapel to Extinction Rebellion.
