Invokation with light language

Hello dear Listeners,

Indeed, it's been a long while since Tim and I posted New Music together as  Shekinah Fire*, but today's the day!

This improvisation, recorded on our one Stereo Mic, April 8th during the Solar Eclipse. I am on the ancient upright Grand Piano and Timothy on his Telecaster electric Guitar. What came forth as we played were allelujahs for  the joy of Spring and the wonders of improvisation.

In case you're wondering about the title, the jewel-like 'sparks' made visible in the Sun's Corona just before it reached Totality then as it exited (as captured in the Photo), are called 'Baily's Beads'. We hope you'll hear them as the music unfolds.

ben je beland in een vreemd verhaal
Doolt door het huis je voelt je alleen
gaat niet buiten gaat nergens heen

Praat tegen muren, ze antwoorden niet 
praat tegen jezelf, maar je hoort het niet
denk niet dat ik het niet weet
ik hoor en zie je diep verdriet

Als je roept kom ik naar je toe 
probeer te slapen je bent zo moe 
ik zal over je waken 
in donkere zee, ben ik je licht, ben ik je baken 
geen loze woorden, ik zal er voor je zijn 
van nu af aan ben ik je reddingslijn

Je voelt je een scherf van een vaas die aan diggelen ligt (x2)
Maar dan ben je een deel van een groter geheel 
goed omringd en niet alleen				x2
Een golf van de zee, een straal van het licht		x2
 een rijm in een mooi gedicht
Als je roept kom ik naar je toe 
probeer te slapen, je bent zo moe 
ik zal over je waken 
in donkere zee , ben ik je licht ben ik je baken 
geen loze woorden ik zal er voor je zijn 
van nu af aan ben ik je reddingslijn
goed omringd en niet alleen, deel van een groter geheel

Translation:
Like in a book in another language

You feel like a shard of a vase that is shattered (x2)
But then you are part of a bigger picture
well surrounded and not just a pixle
A wave of the sea, a ray of light 
 a rhyme in a beautiful poem
