The ship's sensors bleed static into the eternal night. Bleak. It’s a word that feels like a tombstone. Generations have turned to dust, their memories of Old Earth a fading ghost, a collective delusion whispered in the dark. We are the last shattered fragments of a dead world, clinging to this metal sarcophagus. And then it came. The resonance. Not a signal, not a hum. It felt like a tooth sinking into the soft meat of your mind. It was complex, crushing the psyche with the weight of a black hole, yet it also felt like a promise. A terrible, beautiful promise. It was an alien ache, an indecipherable language that we still craved.
The ship, the Cacophony, was built to drown out the silence, a city of flesh and metal dedicated to the deafening pursuit of pleasure. And as the crew began to chart a new course, their hesitant excitement was a flimsy curtain over the deep-seated dread of the void. The signal became our new sun, the heart of our new religion. We were the last pilgrims in the long night, following a star we didn't understand.

Return of the mighty Jack Pattern on the highly collectable Lustapoderosa label. A lot like the world we currently occupy, Jack Pattern's sound heads darker on this release, recalling distant memories of dystopian nuclear wastelands, Total Recall-esque interplanetary life and the rise of AI machines. With a hefty collection of vintage drum boxes and weighty analogue synthesizers, the EP throbs and hums in all the right places, with UnknownMix singer Magda Vogel's vocals really doing the track on "Codex". Fans of that dark, electroid sound from Borft, Frak and Tillander will love this, as will general lovers of EBM and new beat. It's discordant but harmonious, jagged and mechanical but rhythmic and enveloping. It's absolutely brilliant but definitely not for the faint hearted!

Portsmouth based techno label Det Sync founded in 2015  is about to unleash the 6th release from one of his owners Brad Goddard aka M.E.A.D. - "Brutalist"  - his first full length EP after his debut release on Magic Feet Recordings as part of their spring sampler earlier in the year.
Release brings 3 original mixes, remixes from Man2.0,  mexican duo Los Fugazzi and transmit confident, beautiful and deep sound, somewhere between trance and techno. For connoisseurs of beautiful dance electronics - this is absolutely a win-win option.
The mexicans Los Fugazzi have presented their darkest and slow version of the track "Raw" with an obviously tangible Mexican vision of dance music. 
As a result, EP turns out to be an very interesting, holistic release, which will have a worthy use at the any party.

New year for the Birdcast begins with none other than Roman Sputnik one of the three tigers of Digital Tsunami. There's not a lot to say about Roman because basically he's one of the greatest DJs and selectors out there that I've had the luck to get to know and enjoy his mixing both from distance and in real life: besides of being the technical head of Digital Tsunami, he's also a resident in their parties, half of the sometimes emerging from the obscurities duo Glark n Glark and "associate professor of partying in general" (that being prooved many times too).

This mix is a smooth and eclectic trip through slower grooves and hyper ambiences, goofy oldies from approximately the 80s and crisp gems from more recent times as well as some unreleased ones. If you want to touch the sky - just put a window in ya eye!

Originally, Auren comes from downbeat, ambient and slow electronica background. He had to break his own rules in order to move into different music direction, what with the time becomes more and more unknown for himself. This reflects in Aurens debut album, where the boundaries between styles, genres, known and modern dissolve. Most of the tracks were recorded live during his sleepless jams at his studio in Vilnius, Lithuania.
