@nathancohn is a London based producer and DJ who’s been crafting his art and exploring the various facets of house music for years. Over his decade-long career, he has had some hear-catching releases on renowned labels such as Kitsuné, Nervous, Ed Banger or Bordello A Parigi.

In “Focus On Your Breath”, he showcases the wide array of his influences, and the broadness of his musical soundscape, revealing us these three interpretations of a track built around a mantric vocal sample. With a first iteration sounding like the perfect modern italo disco cut, a chuggy and acid version taking us to some dreamy, meditative, and almost hypnotic fields, or a progg and tech infused tool crafted for the club, COHN pays his own homage to the diversity and richness of electronic music.

We are pleased to present our 45th release, this time by Italian producer Treasure Island. This launch promises to immerse listeners in a deep, introspective journey filled with captivating rhythms and intense atmospheres. With his unique holotropic approach, Treasure Island crafts a musical experience that invites inner connection and the discovery of new dimensions, exploring both the personal and the cosmic. The EP includes three original tracks that transport listeners on an astral journey, blending influences of minimal, trance, and dark sounds. Complementing these tracks are two unique remixes: one by the duo Panka Panka, who add their signature raw, acid-infused style, and another by Mexican producer Tkuz, who contributes deep basslines and powerful beats, taking this journey to an even greater depth. In addition to releases on various labels, Treasure Island is a resident DJ at Circle Saints parties and collaborates with Oltrefuturo on two innovative projects: Future Island and Eurospeed. Kalexis & Paulor return to Riotvan one year after their initial appearance with their „In Between EP' inviting a fresh spectrum of global talent to reimagine their cosmic soundscapes. At 105 BPM, this version brings a steady structure while remaining faithful to the mystique of the original. Lashes (Peter Invasion & Gregor Habicht Remix) Peter Invasion and Gregor Habicht take the hypnotic, distortion-heavy 'Lashes' to chaotic new heights. Layered with arpeggiated sounds their remix adds a structured dynamism that contrasts yet complements the track's underlying turbulence. The result is a chaotic harmony, capturing the track's essence while expanding its auditory impact. Energy (Mala Ika Remix) Taking inspiration from In Between's standout dancefloor gem 'Energy,' Paris-based Mala Ika channels Kraftwerk-like vibes with an elevated pitch and vocal stabs that infuse a lighter, almost disco feel. We’re happy to cordially invite you to the Regression Session, hosted by eternal Philadelphia scene flag bearers @zillasonacid ! And if you think this sounds awfully lot like a scam, you’re probably right: „Regression Session“ is just a front of their illegal black market operation, trading raw uncut gems on a large scale. Just listen to the opener and title track and you won’t exactly have a strong case for the Zillas selling out, but rough as it is, this thing is capable of destroying any dancefloor it touches. Looking at their recent releases it’s fair to say the Z’s are on quite a run, putting out music on labels like Permanent Vacation, Throne Of Blood, Multi Culti or Ivan Smagghe’s Disques de la Mort. Tunes like the sneaky rough slow burners „Underling“ or „Start Digging“ sound like they could be lifted from the latter’s infamous DJ sets, while the deceptively titled „Cha Cha Cha“ or closer „Casual Observer“ justify the „Acid“ in the artist name. „Shining Snakes Across The Lake“ is what some years might have been called a mid-tempo house roller and probably counts as downtempo these days. Speaking of tempos, the penultimate „Sweet Days Of Discipline“ starts of masquerading as reaaally downtempo, but ends up throwing 155bpm kick drums at you, so better watch out, all you k-hole ravers! Let’s not forget to talk about „bquiet“, which is what you’d call mid-tempo house these days (125bpm) and uses the eternally banging combination of a jacking beat, a polyrhythmic bass line, some lead-synth stabs and talking vocal slices. You can practically smell the sweat. So what’s left to say? What you see is what you get: They are Zillas, and they are on Acid. And they provide a collection of eight tunes that probably each don’t necessarily have a double-digit amount of tracks in their DAW projects, and that’s exactly what makes them so forceful. Following the introspective depths of Codonopsis and the provocative excursions of Rumex, we are proud to introduce Orbea - our third Various Artist release. This 15-track compilation continues our exploration of genre-melting sound. Once again, we’ve gathered a selection of artists from across the globe, weaving together their distinct styles into a sonic tapestry that defies easy categorisation.

Musically, Orbea is genre-fluid: from atmospheric ambient, classical, and textured noise to fractured breaks, raw electro and wave. Before the current revolution of the Earth around the Sun comes to an end, the Mexican powerhouse Kyma Komplex brings to life another compilation: After "Varias Artistas", "Anthems Manifesto", and "Protesta", its previous VAs, it is now the time of "Vórtices" take over the stage with its 6-track parcel featuring only Guatemalan artists from different generations who delivered an insightful selection of cuts that combine a plural soundscape of influences. On board this true showcase of Latino talents: Milla Campollo, Mike Rowave, Casta, Jorge Galindo, Mverto Futura, and Márian. Premiered here, the latter’s contribution.

For her second appearance on Kyma, young and promising producer Márian pulled no punches and forged a theme that defines her sonority. Filled with melodic insertions and percussive boosters, “Bon Voyage” triggers a certain feeling of nostalgia. The reason? No idea. It simply opens the vault of good dance floor recollections even listening to it for the very first time. Time to dance to it and create perennial brand-new memories…

Nothing Is Real is happy to welcome on board for the release number 31, the Italian masters Materia Prima with a three track EP.

The main track ‘Embryo’ is a moody and muscular take on electroclash that gradually builds tension and suspense throughout its six-minute duration. The track is followed up soon after with the second track ‘Silky’, bringing vocoder vocal parts to the foreground while decorating the track with groovy percussions, rolling bass-lines and distorted synth melodies. 

The EP’s third track ‘Venus Ramp’ demonstrates Materia Prima’s experimental spirit. This is a truly original and mesmerizingly unique piece of electronic music, and proves that the producers have more than a few tricks up their sleeve.
