Dark Side of the Moon, a mix i made 6 years ago and one that is still one of my all time favourites. I have been wanting to make a part 2 for a long time and finally i did! A mix containing tracks which i have become to love over the past years. Some of these tracks i have played often during club gigs, some hardly ever., but a bit more to the darker side of techno. And for your convenience i have also included the tracklist.

Gaba: Gaba is a DJ/ Producer from Curitiba, Brazil. He started his personal project in 2020 in small clubs, and 3 years later, he already shared booth with Maxi Degrassi, Kamilo Sanclemente, Ezequiel Arias, ZAC, Albuquerque, Jessica Brankka, and Amonita.

As a producer, he has releases on RADIANT, Something Special, ODYSSEY, Radi Mira i Lubvi, Where The Heart Is, among others. His source of inspiration is his producing teachers, which made him have an amazing progress in such a small time. Cocho, Vandelor, GRIFE, and Foglight.

HOO: Hoo is a duo composed by the Muller twins. They started DJ’ing due the pandemic and nowadays they already shared booth with Keinemusik, Black Coffee, All Day I Dream crew, Guy Guerber, Dixon, among others. 

As producers, they have releases on RADIANT, which is their last EP with Gaba, including an amazing remix from Facundo Mohrr and also an edit from Sabb.

Bucharest based Emotional Tourist is an artist we are a big fan of! He has released on labels such as When We Dip, Kindisch, Mirrors, 3rd Avenue, Stellar Fountain, Forward Music and Sag & Tre. 

With his own imprint, Mixed Feelings, the label is going from strength to strength. Working with artists such as Kyotto, Hermanez and Powel, are signs that this guy is trusted amongst the scene. A standout release for us, is Powel’s remix of his own track entitled “Mixed Feelings” – it's been on repeat ever since it came out a few months ago!

With a wonderful remix lined up for LOST coming out in December, we are thrilled to have Emotional Tourist put this mix together for us. Be sure to keep an eye out for that release, but for now, hit play and enjoy the set!

The second episode of the microCastle podcast welcomes label artist Jamie Stevens. The Australian producer is coming off the release of his second original project for us entitled 'The Healing'. Released earlier this month, the four track EP featured a Guy J remix  and was a huge success reaching #7 and #2 in the Beatport overall and Electronica Top 100s respectively. The EP's lead cut, the deep and emotive 'My Tears Don't Help Me' has been regarded as some of Jamie's most unique work to date and also reached #1 in the KissFM Australia charts. For Jamie's podcast showcase we've chosen his live set from the Chameleon Recordings 7 year anniversary event from August 15th.  Jamie had the honour of closing the event out and it was certainly one to remember, as he effortlessly worked through varied styles of hypnotic techno and indistinct melodies,  to an eventual finale where at the urging of Chameleon Recordings boss Steve Ward, he drops his classic Infusion bootleg of Kate Bush 'Running Up That Hill', now over 13 years old and was a favourite of Sasha, Digweed, Nick Warren and a long list of other DJs for quite some time. Having been going to Fusion for 10 years, this was a dream come true and I probably never was so excited and nervous before a set. Although I imagined how it hopefully would be, the moment itself exceeded my expectations and I just couldn't stop smiling. I feel very grateful that my vision of what a sunrise at Fusion can sound like resonated so well with you all.. 
Please excuse the occasional audio glitches - there was a voltage problem with the mixer which made the audio cut out at random moments. There aren't too many of those though :)

It took no less than 15 years of DJ’ing before Sandeep finally found his way to the studio, resulting in a remix for, and several collaborations with, die Stube Records founder Hollt. Sandeep’s long, deep, progressive and atmospheric sets have paved the way for his first ever solo EP, ‘The Deeper Dreamer’.

The EP kicks off with the story-telling ‘The Deeper Dreamer’, built on a solid foundation of drums, a slightly filtered kick and several dreamy synths and pads. With the delicate and dreamy original fitting for those longer sets in dark basement clubs, Hollt’s reinterpretation has a slightly coarse sound in comparison, yet making it a day-dreamy track for those hazy afternoons.

For Whom The Bells Toll is special collaboration between Sandeep and Australian based cellist Wilma. After having met online, the two artists worked together on this slightly melancholic, deep house an neo-classical music cross-over gem. Listening to the original during the night, the acoustic version will suit any Sunday morning.
