A weak, uniform sound, with a slow pulsation, began to manifest itself from infinity...A descent began, as long as the ascent ... Argonafts stepped onto a space body flying in an orbit guided only by him ...Having divided into a column, they began their journey...After some time they came to a river with dark, barely noticeable flowing water...A fragment of a colossal tree lay across, creating a small dam...I wonder who lived here at those times? And what power of the raging elements should have done this with this giant?

- We are wasting time...This planet seems to be floating in weightlessness, it feels neither cold, nor heat, nor bottom, nor top, nor light, nor darkness... It feels neither fear nor joy, does not understand its state which we call life...It trembles before the fundamental structures of our world...And its being is built in such a way that "never" repeats itself every moment and this is the only thing that so inevitably unites us...

The Universe is infinite in every direction. Up to the stars and down to the atoms, layer upon layer of beauty is there to be found and admired. The Earth Viewing Experiment is a project about that path of discovery. Sounds of instruments and everyday objects alike are deconstructed and transformed, to reveal the hidden beauty within. A Train can become a singing voice, a harp can become a timeless texture. These transmutations are interwoven with field recordings from around the world and live synthesizer play into a journey without motion, an invitation to venture deeper into the self.

In Vacuum Noctis : Janvier 2024 - Rétrospective 2023

En ce début de mois de Janvier 2024, quoi de mieux qu'une rétrospective des sorties qui ont marqué l'année 2023. Entre coups de cœur, découvertes et artistes phares de la scène, je vous propose une sélection d'une vingtaine de morceaux, pour un résumé hautement partial des plus belle sorties de la cuvée échue.
Replongeons nous dans la très riche et foisonnante année 2023, au sein d'une scène ambient toujours aussi vive et prolifique. Entre labels qui s’affirment, artiste émergents qui émergent forts, newscommer talentueux, et artistes phares au sommet de leur art, on ne s'est pas ennuyé durant cette année, qui j'en suis sûr ,ne nous a pas encore livré tous ses secrets. Tour d'horizons non exhaustif, tant il faudrait au moins deux volets supplémentaires pour faire le tour du sujet. Mais on aura l'occasion tout au long de cette saison radiophonique d'égrainer les morceaux qui sortent du lot.

Hello dear people. Here is the 50th episode of the Stellar Series. Is it the beginning of a new era, as we recently entered through the new age of Aquarius ? Only the sky and the light can bring the answer. 

This one is from Kolya Kalpa, a producer and selector from St Petersburg. , He have released two beautiful tracks on the great @tehnofonika label, and some beautiful deep techno and ambient podcasts. The one he made for the Stellar Series is very evocative in his way to think and arrange music - deep in all circumstances, going through ambient and immersive techno with subtil and different kind of rythmics, evocating an enlightened journey between the sky and the sea.

Stellar Series Episode 50 - Kolya Kalpa (Isolate)

Markus Trige Frandsen AKA Respira is one of the co-founders of Nature Tales and a resident musician of The Vibroacoustic Studio in Copenhagen. For the past 2 years his creative work has mainly been centered around music performance for yoga and meditation. Creating soundscapes of free form and fluidity, exploring texture and depth and playing with the contrasts and similarities of organic and electronic sound, he aims towards union and coherence between nature and technology.

“Since being invited to participate in the multi-sensory installation The Vesica Project one year ago, I’ve had the honor to work with sound and vibroacoustic technology together. In this case meaning a floor turned into a subsonic speaker, vibrating the body of the listener lying on it, creating a physical dimension of the music which can be an extremely relaxing, sleep inducing and even pain-relieving experience.

In May, Nature Tales opened up The Vibroacoustic Studio in Copenhagen and the exploration of this fusion of art and technology is now going strong, with weekly sessions of sound-massage, movement, yoga and concerts.

This is the first of two short sets I played for our introduction sessions for Vibroacoustic Sound Massage on the 5th of July 2020 - an improvised journey combining deep synthetic atmospheres, traditional acoustic sound-healing elements and field recordings”

Ishq have been making music since about 1995 and his music skirts between IDM electronica, deep ambience and experimental electronics. Ishq means "love" in Persian and Hindi, it is also a word used by such past masters as Rumi to express love of the divine and the ecstatic love of the Sufi or lover of God.
