Interesting Results hails not from Rotterdam but that other place below sea level: New Orleans. As a lifelong lover of electro (and discordant noises in general) this playlist was thoughtfully curated from some of her favorite songs lately. She spent her teenage years exchanging mix tapes and CDs with friends and has been DJing on and off for over two decades starting with her local college radio station KLSU-FM where she co-hosted an electronic and experimental music show called the Kitchen Sink for three years. Her transition from vinyl to digital occurred only more recently though she has no plans to part with her record collection! While she is a high school teacher by day and a selector at heart, it is her love of dancing that most influenced her shift to DJing in club environments and the dancefloor is often where you’ll find her. Even still, she’s constantly scouring everywhere and anywhere for new tracks with the same fervor that a research scientist devotes time to their own field of study. While the electronic music scene in New Orleans might be small, it is quite special and steadily growing; here’s to hoping this mix might catch the attention of some of her favorite acts and help to bring them here! Please enjoy her sleep paralysis demon mix.

He’s now resident dj and part of the art direction of important city festivals such as Movement Torino and Kappa Futur Festival and he’s been booked as guest for parties (Dude, Il Suono, Glucose…), and festivals around Italy (Nature Beat in Rome, Aurora Festival in Lecce, Forevergreen in Genova and Milan, Bardonite…). In March 2013 he also had the opportunity to play at the French techno club Concrete, and in early 2015 he had his first gig in Berlin at Griessmuhle, followed by an appearance at Karnival Der Kulturen Kreuzberg. Summer 2015 he as been booked for the "Numa" party in Tokyo, Japan, and in October 2015 he was guest of the infamous "Staub" party in Berlin before returning at About Blank for the "Away meets Genau" party in 2016 and at Kosmonaut in 2017. In April 2017 he returned toJapan where he performed at Dommune and at Unit in Tokyo.

If you are in need of a soundtrack to deepen your fall daydreaming, then you’ve come to the right place. I am very pleased to share this absolutely gorgeous transmission by Dallas DJ Gina G, whose mix encapsulates the very essence of Neptune’s influence. Both Gina G’s musical knowledge and vinyl collection are impressive, and she says it is @Lowfish’s album Eliminator (2000) on @suction-records, which she discovered in high school, that was her gateway to electro, techno and house. Since then the visual artist and aspiring producer has played one-off gigs and held residencies at venues throughout Dallas, and her next show happens on October 20th, alongside @txconnect aka Gavin Guthrie, Chaperone and Marion Gulliet. More emerging talent out of Montreal comes in the shape of fast-rising DJ & selector Lis Dalton. Having been intro'd to the Lobster family by Dust-e-1, Lis' solidly-blended sets and knack for a break-y earworm has led to her recording being hammered in the office.

Between key gigs on the Montreal circuit (supporting Yaeji and hitting highly-respectable festivals Piknic Electronik & Shaker Mountain) she's contributed mixes for Bake's Rinse FM show (alongside regular booth mate DJ Frog) as well as an other worldly Graphite Publications set.

This Lobster mix is a dream-world of percussive breaks and sizzling rhythms. Blended, baked and arranged to a T! Lis has rocketed up our list of ones to watch, let's hope she comes to Europe some time soon :)
