(It is 11:52pm PST as I start typing this.  Oh, the irony for the song I post right before my self-established deadline being the exact opposite of what I currently have.  ;) )

Barely getting this in under the wire, a lot of indecision filled up my day before finally, late this evening, deciding to finish up this track--which, in its instrumental form, was known as "synchronous" and really only had the Morodory-bass and the classic retro house drums.  Everything else--the vocal snips, the synths, the structure...all completed in a mad dash.  

Who was it that said that Necessity is the motherfucker of invention?  (Lorne Michaels, maybe?)

This track takes us into some familiar territory for Interbay.  British sci-fi television, disco tech house blends, a smattering of new wave, all jumbled up into what I hope is a pleasant and entertaining package.    

The good news is that future tracks shouldn't have to cut so close to the wire--because I'm starting to feel better.  After dealing with what turned out to be NOROVIRUS for about ten days, I've been completely asymptomatic today (I'm still, according to what I've read, really contagious, so I'm sticking close to home.) 

I've managed to work pretty much all day on music without feeling ill (yeah, even I was starting to get sick of Interbay! ;) )  Now, a lot of these were the beginnings of projects, or some advancement but not quite to the point where I'd call it finished, on a bunch of tracks...but that suggests that I'll be able to work steadily again from now on.  

...and everything is easy 'cause its free!  ;)  Who said that?  (Lorne Michaels, I think.)  

Anyway, I like this track.  Trainspotters will get a kick out of it.  If you just like a good housey groove with some fun vocal snips on it, it's certainly for you.  

Please listen--really, that's all I want is for people to hear this stuff.  (Though, if you could go back and check out a couple of recent "underperforming" daily releases (like "Opacity" and "Knock Me Over") that'd soothe some recent bruising for me and my fragile ego.  ;)
