Punch

This is a representation of how life is going after breaking up. After seven years, it's just me and it isn't easy, but life always has its moments. This is dark, heavy, groovy and the kind of stuff I like to headbang to. It also represents my struggles with addiction and mood changes, going from euphoria to sadness and anger in a question of minutes. Life is hitting hard and this one is supposed to hit hard too. Enjoy.

The Lone Wolf

A heavy beat, a bucketload of synth and strings, with a dash of prog. This is much softer and lighter in tone than my previous release, The Lone Wolf. My grandfather was born in Japan and I've always wanted to visit Tokyo. I guess this track I what I picture when I think of driving there at night. Maybe someday.

Lost in a Labyrinth of Neon

Heat is heavily inspired by Justice, one of my favorite electronic music acts. It draws from some of their work in the second album, Audio Video Disco. Something I made in the middle of a creative drought, but little by little it came to fruition. I hope you enjoy it and headbang a bit to this.

Heat

Spirit Animal is the penultimate track of this second EP. In the art, you can see my inner self (the kid), the outer self (the wolf, represented by a mythical beast) and a bird (my spirit animal) flying towards the moon, all together. This track is a representation of all the feelings I've been dealing with. There's wonder, there's darkness, there's grit, anger, but most of all, will to move forward.

It is also a continuation to Chill, the first track of the EP, and you can find some hints of it in here. You can also find wailing guitars, synths, pads and a track that evolves and grows throughout itself. I hope you enjoy it.

Spirit Animal

This is the last track of The Lone Wolf EP. Into The Night is a track about  exploration. Whether life is going well or not, part of the thrill is getting to know yourself and experiencing new things. Sometimes when I'm feeling really crappy, I just hop onto the car and go out for a drive. The inspiration came a lot from there too. Sometimes, literally or not, you gotta keep driving until you find where you want to go.

Into The Night

This is a mini set - a mashup between Heat, Into the Night and Lost in a Labyrinth of Neon. The name is a personal joke, because that's what I always tell myself after I finish a track. Maybe this is the one =)

Y'all Gonna Dance to This - Mini Set

Made for my favorite pole dancer. Strip is about opening yourself to the core, being vulnerable and going on that journey of self knowledge.

Strip

Track 3 of my new project, Feels. This is a mashup of Fury and Duel, both tracks from my first EP, Arise. It is very interesting for me to revisit older tracks and see how far I've come in terms of production, mixing and arrangement, whilst not just purely remaking them. The idea of this new album is getting tracks from the Arise EP and The Lone Wolf album and mixing them together, exploring how they sound with my new skills.

Fight (Duel x Fury - Mini Set II)

This is a mashup between Adrenaline and Spirit Animal, from my the Arise EP and the Lone Wolf album, respectively. The feeling here is staying on the move, avoid stagnation, keep yourself going somewhere, even if you don't know where you're going. Just run, towards something, or maybe, from something.

Midnight is the direct continuation to The Lone Wolf. What happens if you embrace the darkness and navigate through it in search of the light? Midnight can mean so many things. Some say it means the end of it all, the apocalypse. Some say it is time to sleep. Maybe it is a deep, extended darkness or gloom. For some, it is just the beginning of fun. Life has changed, I am not alone anymore, yet I live one of the happiest moments of my life surrounded by an uncomfortable feeling of looming danger, a feeling that this is too good and good doesn't last. This track is a representation of this feeling. The fun is just beginning, but darkness lingers very close.

Dang, I am really happy with this one. Enjoy.

Midnight - Lone Wolf Pt. II

Journey is the last track of this project, which is now an album. The Feels album. I'm very happy that I was able to put out two albums worth of tracks this year, which was the hardest, but also the best year of my life. High and lows, lows and highs, strong depression and anxiety, an incredible bounce back, getting back together with the love of my life and pretty much living through this rollercoaster ride that was 2023. This is Journey, which represents, a little bit, what I felt during those almost 12 months. Darkness, pessimism, optimism, euphoria and a new found pleasure for living, even if life has its problems and presents its struggles more often than not. It's not always pretty, but here we are, doing what we can to make the most out of it.

Journey

I said Journey was the last release of the year, but I lied. I was digging through "the vault" and I found this track, decided to remake it. This is the original version of Lost in a Labyrinth of Neon and the concept is basically what my idea of a night in Tokyo would sound like. My grandfather was Japanese as well, so this is my homage to him. He passed when I was 17. 

This doesn't sound like the synthwave I always do, feels more like a club track, but retro. Enjoy!

Tokyo

Glow is my first track of 2024. I just wanted to make something dancey, kinda mysterious, groovy and I love the soundscape/atmosphere on this one. I hope you enjoy it as well. 

This one comes at the happiest moment of my personal life and I believe it shows. Happy New Year and let's dance.

Glow

My second track of 2024 - a mix of Blade Runner and my musical influences, which explain the name: Electric Dreams. I love the synth sounds produced by Vangelis and I tried to add a groovy element to it. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it.

Electric Dreams

Danger is Strip's sister track. Spicier, heavier, sexier, a little bit more melancholic. Again, something I made for someone I love very much and who now happens to be my wife. So much happened since Strip, including you and I getting reunited. You know who you are and I love you.

Danger is also about the two extremes of our mind. The little devil and the little angel, the sadness and the happiness, the anger and the fun. As always, the darker side sounds very sexy, the allure of our saboteur is sometimes too good to refuse, but here we are, fighting it and trying to free ourselves from that dangerous, inner voice that keeps telling us bad things. This is what Danger is truly about.

Danger

I wanted to make something different, so I did. The Rising Sun is heavily inspired in cinema scores and a homage to eastern scales, chords and music in general. It is supposed to feel more cinematic, dramatic and the retrowave intro is just there to deceive you hahaha. It is the first of the a two part song. This one is about the rise of civilization, exploration and thriving. You can imagine what the second one is about.

The Rising Sun

Fever is a re-imagination of Heat, which is one of my favorite creations. I made it funkier, dancier and shorter. The concept is that it is more minimalistic and less aggressive than Heat, as this is a Fever. So it keeps growing and growing, and then it goes away. I love the idea of just revisiting older stuff at times and making it a different way and I hope you enjoy this one.

Fever

The Falling Sun is the continuation to The Rising Sun. The Sun pieces chronicle the history of mankind, from its beginning and maturity, to its possible fall. 

The sun is setting, but not the way you think so.
