hi. been holding off the release of this for about a week??? two weeks? if i released this the day i recorded it, on the 12th, it'd be the first song i ever wrote, recorded and released all in less than 10 hours, but then i'd be lying to you because i wrote this a few days earlier while on a blue night bus at 3 am completely drunk after seeing protruders/soap (frickin greasy band)/lice/my friend kevin (who also famously ran inyrdisk, and also whom i'll buy a naked city - torture garden cassette from in the next few weeks) mess around with a broken bass at owl's club, humming the verse and chorus melody quietly to myself at the back of the bus repeatedly for an hour...praying to GOD or BUDDHA or whomever that i absolutely wouldn't forget it once i got home and then i proceeded to record drunk me humming it into a laptop microphone. then i recorded this. i have written around 6-7 songs since the beginning of the month but i'm having difficulty putting them down to tape, they're really all over the place.

this will be the last song off my third and last record, this isn't a demo either -- this is the first and finished take, didn't rewrite or revise lyrics, wanted to get this over and done with as quick as possible. i can't wait to release these three albums so i can move onto something else. i might drop a single or two or play a show or two after this third album is released but i'm no longer recording after 2017.  this is in open A tuning, we're all going full nu metal tuning here. check out the "bridge" chord progression. y'all want a single say fuck that. it's all about the he said she said bullshit. ignore this expulsion of sad feelings. eat it up while U can.
