Born in 1970. Music fan since 1985. Now heaving fun with making music. I'm self-taught, playing everything by ear. Started in 1990's but due to certain circumstances left in 1998 until April 2022. My music is created in Ableton Live 11 Intro (until december 2022) and 11 Standard with mostly free plug-ins. Fan of soundtracks (my personal heros are John Williams, Clint Mansell, Philip Glass, Thomas Newman, Hybrid, Hans Zimmer and much more), world music (Dead Can Dance), chillout (Bent, Zero7, Groove Armada, St. Germain, Air, Röyksopp, Kosheen and more), trip-hop (Massive Attack, Portishead), acid jazz (Us 3), fusion (Pat Metheny Group, Dirty Loops), progressive rock (Porcupine Tree), classical (Tchaikovsky, Mozart, Debussy, Orff, Mussorgsky) electronica (Imogen Heap), IDM/House (Moderat, Apparat, Plaid) and electronic music (Vangelis, Kraftwerk, Isao Tomita, Marek Biliński, J.J. An electronic musician and guitarist who especially likes the more nostalgic sounds of the 80s. Composing and producing is my favourite hobby. Thank you to everyone who listens to my music.

I learned my first guitar chords as a teenager in the 90s, that's when I also composed my first songs. Since then, songwriting has been my passion.  In the 90s, my friends and I also founded a band that worked for about 10 years. After the band ended, I wrote songs in a desk drawer and dreamed of a home studio. I also learned to play a little piano. Since 2016, I've been slowly learning to produce music in a DAW environment, first with Garegeband and later with Logic Pro X. In the last couple of years, I've learned more about composing and arranging than in the previous several years, but it feels like the journey is just beginning. Thanks to everyone who has read this far.

I don't use AI to compose or produce my music.

As a kid starting play keyboards for fun. Then I played live piano in piano bars and restaurants. During 90s also compose and recording my first audio tracks. After a 20 years break I came back with more love for music creation especialy for electronic sound.

Scratch Kelly constructs a synthesis of dark ambient, industrial and wave music. She creates a diverse sonic landscape, from brutal and unforgiving industrial sounds to dreamy dark wave territory marked by melodic synth bass so deep you could drown in it. Her music is designed to bring a sense of realisation, contemplation and healing to the darker places of the psyche.
First surfacing in 2018 with as part of the Hobart based duo Soundtractor, and moving onto solo music production in 2022 with a series of self-released EP's and albums. Her work is heavily influenced by darkwave and industrial electro, but her  inclusion of complex, often experimental rhythms and emotive melodies sets her apart from the rest of the dark electronic scene. She has received her greatest exposure so far on radio and at the Unconformity Festival.
