This is heartfelt cover work Simon, also the harmonizing here is spot on.

This sounded like great fun, and the sounds of your daughter made me smile, I can really feel your enjoyment in making this and that's easily enough to make me enjoy it

Anthem for our lost generation

This is the lead track from the new LP 'Vandalism'. Soon to be released on Bandcamp. The album will feature 11 SD/VG tracks, most of which have never been released before. Also included in the album are the first 2 tracks that Si and Gabe shared. Long deleted from Soundcloud's infant days. The album is an eclectic mix of tracks showcasing the 'art of the mix'.

14.Just Like Yesterday

Joe Strummer has influenced my thinking and my values across many decades of my life.
The man, the music, the ideology of 'do it yourself'.

He is a modern icon in a world of plastic and dayglow Barbie dolls and Beckham aftershave.

This song is from his second solo release with the multi-talented Mescaleroes. If you look them up on youtube you will see a version of this on the Letterman show... 

A tribute therefore to one of the icons that lead me to 'do it myself' and ignore the conventions and get on and 'make some noise'...

The version is roughly mixed with some reverb on the backing vocal. Other than that it is very rough because my small daughter was about as you will hear throughout the song,,,,
