Ketamine may be more widely known as the party drug “Special K.” But researchers are beginning to explore its potential to treat severe forms of mental illnesses like OCD and bipolar disorder. Stanford psychiatrist Carolyn Rodriguez, MD, PhD, is one of those researchers intrigued by the unconventional therapy.
