gray, old horse,

to foster.
Both tired,
worn out

of barren effort -

Holding it
by a rope,
trotting without direction.

The Pulse of Us - ambient

This is a mantra for the Divine Mother embodied so fully in Amma- Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi. The first time I went to see Amma I was a bit weary of gurus.  When I came within 50 meters of her I started crying uncontrollably, taken over completely by her forcefield of LOVE.  I had never been around a being so pure.  

Although I have not spent much time in her physical presence, I feel she is always with me.  Sometimes she comes to me and gives me transmissions.  One of the most powerful ones was when she came to show me how to draw upon the endless wellspring of shakti while I was on the dance floor at Beloved festival.  Once again, I was crying uncontrollably and my entire body was vibrating, shaking...it felt as if I had just been struck by lightening! 

She shows us how to live a life of service and that it is possible to give that powerful transmission of the presence of the divine mother to everyone we come into contact with simply by drawing upon the endless wellspring of shakti... Filling our cups until they are overflowing and can effortlessly take care of everything we need to in our lives. 

I pray to be as generous as Amma with my love!  Thank you Amma for being such an inspiration, a true guru, I am forever grateful!
